Fiat 500 Spiaggina: beach pickup and special version for the anniversary

Sixty years ago on the Italian market there was an unusual Fiat 500 Jolly, which received among the local folk nickname Spiaggina, that is “beach”. Such machines with open body without doors, in small quantities produced then still an independent Studio Ghia, and after pyatovskoe dealer network they were sold in Europe, South Africa and even the United States. To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of unusual cars Fiat decided the two projects.

In place of the rear seat and trunk equipped with insulated cargo hold with wooden floors (as in yacht) and a walk-in shower to wash shoes or equipment from beach sand. Instead of the front seats are a solid “bench” with waterproof upholstery. But most interesting is that this machine is available for order! It can be from fiutowski dealers in Europe, the construction machines will be engaged in Garage Italia, but on the cost of such alteration is necessary to guess only.

The very same Fiat has prepared for the anniversary of a much more prosaic car. A special model called the Fiat 500 Spiaggina’58 is a serial quetiapine 500C with a special finish and decor. Of the main features — badging, 16-inch retrocolic, chrome mirror housings, two-tone interior and special exterior Volare Blue. Such machines will be offered with atmospherically 1.2 (69 HP), or 900-kupovini turbo engine TwinAir (85 HP). The total circulation will be 1958 copies and it will be the most expensive cars in factory colours: at least 21350 euros.

By the way, during the eleven years of production at retrocar Fiat 500 has already reached 30 special sets, limited edition. And to stop the Italians are not going to.
