What do they look like?

Rhett Bannerman is a 24 year old welsh man, he has light green eyes and pale skin, his hair is naturally ginger but he dyes it dark blue and has it just below shoulder length however he usually ties it back in a high ponytail, he is short for his age.

he has a bridge piercing, a labret piercing and both lobes pierced, his left ear has two helix piercings whilst the right has a industrial piercing.

he has two scars on his chest from top surgery, he also has a scar on his left leg from an accident in his teens after he fell from a tree

he typically wears a beige t-shirt, blue jeans and dark brown trainers, he also often steals his boyfriend’s purple hoodie and during the events of the story he also wears a blue padded winter coat

BEGINNINGS

 (been a tad lazy and im gonna copy this part into chapter one jhgfghj)

The helicopter may have been fairly large, but with this many people it reminded Rhett of a crowded elevator. The ride wouldn’t be a long one but, depending on whether there were any chatterboxes in here, it had to potential to be a tenacious one.

He scanned the space, a quick glance at his peers. He noticed the pink, blue and white wristband on the man with his hair in a low bun sat in the corner and felt just a little bit more comfortable with this whole trip. At least he’s not the only trans man heading out to the frozen wastes.

“So, what do you think this is about?” said Lucky, jittering their leg “I think it’s zombies.”

“No fucking way.” Oiva snorted.

“What? You think it’s aliens?”

“No, it definitely not aliens or zombies, also aren’t you part of the science guys?”

“Yep!”

“And you’re suggesting zombies?”

“Yeah!”

“Great.” Oiva shook his head in disbelief. “Chances are they got a bit spooked and had a breakdown, that’s all it’ll be.”

“You keep telling yourself that, don’t come crying to me when there’s zombies at the door.”

Navid cast an eye over. “Cut it out, McKay.”

Rhett already wished this trip to be over, not only is he in antarctica but now his collague was unironically convinced that the dead had risen.

“Right, don’t fight back there. We’re just about to land, you can fight in the snow but not in my chopper, alright?” Meredith called back, obviously as tired of this already as Rhett.

He turned to look out the front. Liberty Post was right in front of them, the rest of the group just visible from the air.

“Just determine that they had a breakdown and you leave.” Rhett thought to himself. “It won’t be that bad.”

Sorry I'm kinda late but tell me somethings on everyone in the last signal interacts with each other if that isn't too much!

OH THIS IS GONNA BE FUN TO WRITE OUT

ok im gonna start easy with Rhett and Oiva

Rhett and Oiva met a fair few years before the events in uni and theyre dating, they tease eachother a fair bit cause theyve both got the asshole gene but they really do love eachother deeply and everytime i have to write an interaction between them i have a gay crisis cause goddamnit i want a bf

they have several really nice scenes with eachother that i want to keep secret right now but its very excellent

Rhett is an absolute menace but hes also quite friendly and gets along well with most of the others, i really like writing his interactions with Nico especially cause theyre both trans mlm in their early twenties and its great but i also have fun writing interactions between Rhett and Octavia cause due to events they dont get along for a small part of it but they soon work together cause theyve both got strong leader qualities and it works well together

one interaction that equally fun to write is Lucky and Eysteinn!!!

it doesnt happen in the writing cause the story starts the morning they all head into liberty post but the group spent two nights at the nearest Apexi building to get to know eachother and stuff and as this happen Eysteinn Leifsson meets Lucky McKay and immediately is head over heels jhgfdfghjk

BUT!!! Lucky drinks idiot juice and has no fuckin clue so its just Eysteinn endlessly flirting with this tall ass bastard and Luckys like “wow i sure am glad i have a friend like you!!!” and Eysteinns dying

speaking of romance shit!!! the other couples are Pakpao and Magdalena, Kingsley and Ilias, and Octavia and Rasa (sometimes with the addition of Parisha but not usually)

Magdalena, like Eysteinn, also immediately falls for Pakpao but lucky for her Pakpao figures it out and they dont officially start dating but theyre this close to it

Kingsley D’Angelo takes one look at this brooding grumpy scientist and goes “we shall have a summer wedding” and Ilias just wants everyone to leave him alone so he can work and he doesnt know why this very attractive, very muscluar man is following him around but hes not exactly complaining

Rasa sees Octavia and thinks “she could use a friend!” and what do you know it goes somewhere else entirely!!

i could go on but this is getting long as it is and i dont wanna annoy people kjhgfdfghj
