FANDOM OCS. 

clementine flume : hp. daughter of ambrosius flume, owner of honeydukes. was in hufflepuff. she likes inventing new candies with her dad. 

cleo fortescue : hp. daughter of florean fortescue. lost her hearing when she was young and communicates with asl/bsl. takes over the ice cream shop after her dad dies during the second war. 

gemina : acotar. an illyrian who’s had her wings clipped. she’s a total scientist and wants to find a way to build illyrian females new wings, stronger than their male counterparts. 

roman easley : pjo. camp jupiter halfblood. son of somnia ( roman version of morpheus ). has control over dreams, sleep and sleep paralysis, as well as interpreting dreams. kind of an asshole. 

valentina puddifoot : hp. the puddifoot’s are all women who run madame puddifoots. valentina is a squib and has a lot of opinions about everything. in the muggle world, she’s a waitress and also has her own film critic blog. 

katharine scarlet : clue/do. she runs an escort service. she’s also killed men before, and as a result her daughter has to grow up far away from her for her own safety. 

alexandra raeken : teen wolf. half-sister to theo raeken. she has her own personally invented lore. as a mandicore, she has to eat her brother’s heart to survive, or else she’ll die in a year. 

mara morningstar : caos. sabrina’s half-sister. child of lucifer and lilith. she was raised by lilith over the span of a few months in real time, but that passed as seventeen years in a pocket of hell. she takes after her mother in every way, and will always choose her side over anyone else’s. 

FANDOMLESS OCS. 

aspera callope : their genre is primarily sci-fi. they’re a queen of an almost extinct species of aliens. their mother was murdered by their best friend’s father for a political grab, and aspera attempted to assassinate him as a result, failing and going on the run. 

collie st. cool : personfication of scooby doo’s coolsville. her family is bound to the town, and if any of them leave, they all die. she’s a touchstone, meaning she protects the humans from the supernatural while leaving those mystery doofs to deal with all the natural law-breaking themselves. 

rae gardner : her genre is primarily horror. she’s a preacher’s daughter from a small town in alabama where the only things that matter are church and god. inspired by the horror series, the merciful, she bullies one of her classmates with her friends under the guise of it being a exorcism before realizing she actually is possessed and that she unleashed hell unto them all. 

riley silvernight : guarden angel oc based off my own lore. her full about is on her old blog here. 

tuesday higgins : personfiction of the concept of sonder, the realization that everyone you see is living a life as complex and intricate as your own. she’s kind of reclusive, a tattoo artist and sells and grows plants on the side as well. at night she has dreams of other people’s lives, from the mundane, to the absurd.

a) fuckingshines (bc a quote from her is “we’re silvernights –– we don’t sit in the darkness, we fucking shine.”)  or b) silvernighted

"Everyone knew I had feelings for you, how could you not?" bingley

          Flustered, Riley wasn’t sure what to say. She stared at Bing, big blue eyes blown wide as the sky. You could almost see the cogs turning in her head; she looked as though she was doing her best imitation of the math lady meme. And knocking it straight outta the park. 

Well, what could she say? She’d never seen this coming. Well, no… well, that wasn’t true, was it? She’d had hints… Little things. Tiny things… A glance or two… Fingers brushing as they laughed over Saturday Night Live and shared bowls of popcorn and chips…. The necks of their beers clinking and lingering too long against each other… his jacket folded down over her shoulder when the New York streets cooled down and Riley thought herself too big and bad for a little chill to hurt her. 

But she’d never thought it was possible, after all… Bing was… Bing! He was a gentleman! It was in his nature to do all those things. And more! He was sweet and kind and funny and had the most adorable smile this side of the Statue of Liberty, and Riley was… Well, Riley. She’d once spilled wine on her couch and had been too tired to deal with it so she’d turned the cushion over (a big mistake, she’d realized by the way, because it happened again a few months later and she’d had no choice but to pay a hundred dollars to get it dry-cleaned). 

So to put it simply, to her, something hadn’t added up, and she’d chalked the connection as nothing more than a one-sided crush that she’d just have to either get over or learn to live with. Little did she know there was a third option. This: Riley’s hands in Bing’s, their cheeks burning identical and his searching stare into her soul, stomping on the last flame of doubt that was holding her back. 

“Bing…” She carefully started… before determination set into her eyes and she chose to barrel ahead instead of tiptoe around, agonizing over her every word. “I just never thought you felt the same way.” She couldn’t remember how they’d even gotten onto the topic by now –– her head swam with nothing but the fear that her chance was getting away, and she wasn’t about to let that happen. Bing’s hold on her fingers told her he wasn’t either. Maybe everything she felt was written all over her face, not needing to be spoken… But that didn’t mean Bing didn’t deserve to hear it.

Truth was easy to speak when it came from the heart, and even when her words were scattered and messy and Riley blushed and froze and was certain her palms were a weak and sweaty mess, she couldn’t have said it better. “I’ve… had feelings for you for a long time, I just… I don’t know, I didn’t want to ruin what we have by bringing it up in case… in case you didn’t feel the same way.” Luckily for them, Bing had been brave where she’d been too scared. 

She cleared her throat. “Does this mean… Do you want to…? Are we––” She huffed, impatient with herself. “Are we… Y’know… A thing?”

i wanna feel reckless, 

what brings you to sunday shores? the crashing waves, unbreakable and timeless? or is it the sprawling promise of serenity and peace? 

can’t it be both? why, yes it can, and yes it is. it’s simple, really. for the longest time, college was a distant possibility, a dream really, untouchable but nice to dwell on. the reality, not so much. what’s your purpose? what’s your calling? where is your life going? who are you helping? are you happy? 

there’s more questions than answers, and no time to try and find them. but at sunday shores, where relaxation and self-reflection are a given, maybe finally, finally you can find yourself.

OKAY I’M GONNA DIVIDE THIS IN CANONS AND OCS bc… too hard not to. 

for canons I’d say DAPHNE BLAKE (I don’t think I’ve ever developed a canon character as much as I’ve developed her like… I have my own perspective on her, I’ve given her pieces of myself and I’ve just put a lot of time and energy into her tbh); RACHEL DARE (she’s my first character ever so she’ll always have a place in my heart) and OPHELIA MAYER (she is such a fucking shit show it’s so much fun to play her, and since I too am a shit show, it’s pretty easy to put myself in her place). 

for ocs, though, I have to mention my girl RILEY SILVERNIGHT (who was my first official OC and who I’ve taken from a Mortal Instruments OC and gave her own background and lore and maybe one day I’ll even write a book with her in it, who knows!); ERICKA HASTLY (my god she was… the WORST ever. just such a backstabbing bitch who wrecked her friends lives and exploited them using her secret identity as a gossip blogger… one of the most fun characters to write ever tbh….) and PIPER ST.CLAIR (look I have a thing for the manic pixie dream girl trope. espesially tearing it down. piper is the epitome of it, and she’s so self aware of the fact. she’s such a fun character to write and I just LOVE writing her to this day).
