In my mind they had many children. Haru has to ensure that succession is locked in, y'know?

But also because he really can't keep his hands off her and loves seeing her in the role of a mother. She also loves watching him grow into his new responsibilities as a father even in the most challenging times. I think they'd be good parents who rely on each other and fill in what the other lacks so they can raise the children well 💛

i’ve re-read your son of heaven series about 5 times it’s so good, beautifully written UGH i love the way yn grows to become more outspoken and confident and harus love for her 💳💥💳🤝🏽🤝🏽 and it becomes less toxic,SPEAKING of toxic, i can’t help but wonder what i’d be like to be married to Ran, would he fall in love with a prostitute?? would he be as bad as haru?, would he be absolutely obsessed w you and rude to everyone else? what if it’s like an enemies to lovers w a hard headed yn? sm possibilities 😔🫶🏽 but i’m actually inlove with your series and your celestial writing🌟🌟🌟

Thank you thank you >< I really enjoyed developing yn's character from being rigid and obedient and afraid to show her emotions to becoming more open with her beliefs. At first she was too caught up in what she had been taught growing up to even think of talking back or voicing her own opinion, but when she wasn't reprimanded for being "rude" or yelling at the prince her desire to have her own voice probably grew. Instead of thinking "I shouldn't say this, it's wrong and I'm afraid of punishment" she started to subconsciously think "I want to say this, even if it is taught as wrong and I will get punished", and then there were the occasional times she would accidentally tease Haruchiyo before she could stop herself.

I think Haruchiyo was intrigued by her for a while but when he saw those glimpses of her passions and her true personality his heart just kind of exploded- even while his brain didn't really understand what he was feeling. But when his head caught on he just wanted to cherish her and be near her.

As for Ran, I actually thought about developing a story about someone he maybe met at the brothel or a common woman, but I think the mc of his story is going to end up being another noblewoman. They've known each other for a long time but while Ran has never really paid her any mind because he's a bit older than her, she's been kind of obsessed with him since she was a child. She's the youngest child so she has a stubborn, bratty personality but she can also be quite glass-hearted, especially when it comes to Ran. He finds her kind of frustrating, but she's loved him for a long time- which he is a bit toxic about (wanting to test just how much she loves him), but I think he'll fall for her pretty quickly, especially because his story won't be as long as soh.

Omg I can’t believe the epilogue is next week I’ve been crazily addicted to SOH for months now. Thank you for all your hard work dear 💜 Btw I was curious in asking if you would ever consider writing a spin off focusing on another character, like Ran since I personally find him amusing and interesting in SOH and would absolutely enjoy a story on him (no pressure ofc). Once again thank you for your amazing work!

I can't believe it either. Tbh it feels almost like I forgot a major part of the story, but I think it's just because my brain is used to churning out ideas for soh every day even when it's 1am and I'm trying to sleep.

As for a spin off, if I decide to write one it will be Ran's story. I have thought about it and made some loose plot points, but it won't be posted anytime soon.

Soooo recently, I was in S Korea on travel and saw a plaque in the National Museum mentioned the nation of Goryeo, which proclaimed to be ruled by the "Son of Heaven"... and I immediately re-read your whole series once I got back home. Really looking forward to whatever you're gonna gift us next. Lots of love!

I can't remember how I came up with the title but it probably was from researching many Asian cultures and histories, esp Korean and Chinese history, so this is really interesting.
