Ooh so suo can break his cool...he would've beat that guy into a fine pulp if Sakura didn't stop him. But the near immediate switch back into his normal cheerful persona gave me whiplash.

Kaji also struggles with his own anger issues...he doesn't want to be a monster, he wants humanity and control. And he was able to find that in furin under umemiya.

My favorite character so far is this old woman I hope we see a lot more of her. I hope she is secretly an incredible fighter and she ends up kicking ass at some point.

Huh it's interesting how nakamura (roppo ichiza leader) talks about the differences between them and furin. While roppo ichiza is a purely reactionary peacekeepijg gang, bofurin under umemiya is actually 'fixing the leak' so to speak, by giving delinquent kids a support system with morals and people you can trust, so they don't become trouble makers.

His fighting style of redirecting his opponent's force is so interesting...also the fact that he K.O.-ed this guy via emotional damage...

So Hiiragi saved Sako and taught him to fight...but Sako felt betrayed when Hiiragi told him not to follow him, and he went to shishitouren instead.

Maybe now Sako will be kicked out and go to Fuurin...

OOF so that togame vs. Sakura fight was a lot...

So Togame essentially just decided to do the dirty work of fighting the 'weaklings' for his friend slash twink overlord...but he changed his mind during the fight with Sakura and gave up as penance, essentially.

Hmmm I was hoping for this fight to go on a little longer actually. I thought Togame was going to be a major antagonist.

Mans knocked sense into Tomiyama verbally and then physically.

So tokiyama figured out his 'freedom' was when he had friends and people around him...him and togame made up and it seems like everyone's chill. So they're not going to be reoccurring antagonists. I think there could have been a little more to some of the fights and backstory, but I think that's okay for a first arc; it's just getting a taste for what the Manga's themes are. And I'm guessing this is not the last we'll see of these guys.

I do like that Umemiya's goal was achieved by being a good leader, instead of leadership being his goal. He seems like a good guy, and I'm interested in his backstory...
