I love that Tales of the TARDIS didn't give one singular explanation as to what is going on and in fact seems to give contradictory explanations as to how and when the characters actually arrive inside the TARDIS's memory. Is it a dream? Are they physically there? Is 5 older because of Tegan's perception a la Holo-Doctors, or because of the time differential effect in Time Crash, or something else? How is 6 older than he ever was in that incarnation yet able to go off on more adventures with Peri? Is The Eternal Mystery now Peri's canon ending or is that only as equally canon as Big Finish's canonically multiple endings for her? Is 7 straight up a version from an alternate timeline, or some kind of amalgamated version of that incarnation, or what? How do Peri and Ace and these dubiously real incarnations of the Doctor go off and fly a version of the TARDIS inside the TARDIS's own memory to have more adventures?? This makes everything so much more messier and I wouldn't have it any other way. My grey matter is going to be chewing on this one for a while methinks.
