One of her high heels broke, so she tossed the classy shoes down a trasher near the restaurant. The woman overly made up strode in the place, bare foot with her fishnets with bigger holes than it should, a furry - but fake - coat dangling around her shoulders. Her lips bruised, a black eye was slowly making its way to her beautiful blue look.

Dinah spotted her date, and sat across the table after she planted a kiss upon the beautiful ginger woman @rubycaped. "I know I look like an eastern european prostitute but..." She stopped herself, " I'm sorry I'm late."

Default femshep is ugly.

It's the fact that they didn't give her a face model, and then also caked on a shit ton of eye make up. She has extreme uncanny valley vibes, and I wish they had had someone to base the face model on (like default mshep at least has a real life face model, even if his eyes are bugged out in some scenes).

also on that note, 'default' Shepard =/= the ONLY Shepard, and I'm tired of people saying you can't make good customs w/o mods. You can, I've done it, others have done it, try harder.

she was looking forward to meeting up with her after the show. she was thoroughly impressed by the woman in front of her, but not only that she was interested to get to know her. was she surprised she was interested in getting to know cora as well? a little, but despite her nerves, cora expected the evening to go well.

"i knew who you were before i saw the card," cora admitted before she could think that maybe it was better to play it cool. "anyway- i'm cora jane but you can call me both or just cora. either works because they're both my name."

THERE ARE THINGS  she’s been told to keep close to her chest. j’onn shoots her warning glances more than she’s happy to admit to, and alex mirrors his glare from under her helmet. after all, three coffees proudly stacked under her chin and a couple magazine brochures under one arm proves that she is deft at balance. a cape and a few bad-guy-beat-downs under her belt kind of just reinforces the point. (she won’t toot her own horn, but a few conversations with the big guy in metropolis and she’s feeling a little easier about balancing kara and the elephant in the room in a cape and red boots.)

kate kane proved to be decent company. the socialite gathering in the background was only white noise as they engaged in soft, comfortable conversation topics — naturally, nothing that was held too close to her chest was discussed. but for someone whom the tabloids often favoured? it was fascinating to see the other woman's world view.

normally, the doctor would be indulging in copious amounts of wine and spirits at functions like this. discreet as she might be, it was a nice change of pace to only spend the duration of the shared company.

so she leans in, pressing her lips against the corner of kate's mouth with a smile. the position was deliberate, one that both conveyed the enjoyment of the other woman's company without the brazen assumption that there was a mutual, underlying attraction. it was a statement, not a command.
