Welcome to Moon Coven Academy

You have been accepted into our “New Bloods” program due to your incredible _____________ (Gifts, Achievements, Or through Recommendations of one or more of your Superiors).

All of our first year students are required to register their items, abilities (if any), and... “Condition(s)” during the reception on the first day.

Our school prides itself for accepting any and all Races, Cultures, and Now have programs for our future hybrid citizens of society.

School Rules and Guidelines:

Students are allowed two trunks maximum for the first year.

Vampire students are provided their own choice of Coffin or Bed with black-out drapes.

You will be provided with a school uniform upon arrival.

Casual Wear is to be worn only when class is not in session. That being said, casual clothing should not be crude or vulgar and should cover everything necessary.

Rooms may be decorated as students please so long as it is kept clean.

No pets are allowed unless they are familiars from your witchcraft studies.

Anyone who repetitively chooses to ignore these rules will be charged with rightful discipline.

Let’s meet our faculty and Staff shall we?

Dean Arthur Grant: werewolf, 200 years old. Short black hair and bright honey golden eyes. He wears a plain suit as he prefers the more slightly modern lifestyle. Most likely one of the youngest of the faculty (besides Miss Glenn), which not everyone working under him is fond of. He seems serious at first, but is actually a giant cinnamon roll. He adores hikes and the out doors.

Assistant Dean Laura Glenn: Faerie, 150 years old. Medium length blonde hair usually kept up in a loose bun and pretty green eyes. She always keeps her uniform neat and professional with the exception of a new flower in her vest pocket every day. Is incredibly loyal to her superior (Grant) and has learned martial arts as well as several dark magic spells only meant for defense if anyone means to harm him. She is bubbly and very kind always available to help students.

Jasper St. Laroe: Vampire, 1200 years old. Long silver hair tied back by a ribbon, bright fuchsia eyes that glow red when angered or hungry. A short goatee neatly trimmed. He dresses in very fashionable Victorian-ish clothing. He is a very secretive man. Often locking himself in his office for hours between classes. He is a gentleman to all of his coworkers and students. Teaches History and A vampire class of Home ec.

Coleson Grant: werewolf, 202 Years Old. Brother of the Dean. Short white hair and bright green eyes with a scar over one. He dresses a little more old fashioned than his brother. He looks younger because of his slim figure but he is still a little rough around the edges. He teaches gym as well as a werewolf class of pack living. He is always having “friendly” competitions with his brother for the “students entertainment”.

Jane Gilleson (just call her Mrs. G.): Ghost, 1200 years old. Long red hair kept up in a bun. She keeps her uniform and class tidy, but not strict. Treats all of her students like her grand children. Some of the staff as well. She teaches art and dance as well as the head of the wailing club for banshee and other spirits.

Professor Jeremy Richards: Vampire according to his records... but no one buys that. Age unknown. He has medium length white hair. No idea what color his eyes are. His hood covers them entirely, but don’t let that trick you into thinking you can get away with anything. He sees all. He wears more modern attire and supposedly comes from a long line of distinguished doctors and surgeons. He teaches biology. He is very calm and collected. Often found sipping herbal teas at his desk.

Professor River Hales: Merman, 600 years old. Long deep blue hair and bright sea-green eyes. He typically wears a classic captains coat over his uniform usually just over his shoulders. He will flirt with literally anyone. Often gets scolded by his fellow staff for making inappropriate jokes in his classes. He teaches Herbology and is the swim team coach.

Professor Adamaris Hales: Merman, 600 long black/violet hair and slightly darker eyes than his twin. Typically wears his uniform with two sabers at his hips. Back home he is the strongest warrior. Often finds his brothers antics annoying. He is serious but helpful to his students. He teaches sword play and martial arts. Weird for a merman huh? Did you know his name means “Noble of The Sea?”

Professors Desmond and Angelica La Rue: Demon and an Angel, Desmond is 1000 years old and Angelica is 910 years old. The couple team of the staff. They both dress with a nearly circus like flair. Which makes sense considering they teach Gymnastics as well as Debate Club. Professor Desmond enjoys teasing and spooking the students.... usually resulting in Professor Angelica grabbing him by his pointed ear. Desmond has short shaggy black hair with a thick white stripe in his bangs and bright green eyes. Angelica has long curly honey golden curls usually pinned up and pale blue eyes.

Now for our students:

Nyxlea “Nyx” Gold: Mummy, 17. black hair cut in a bob and bright blue eyes. Wears her uniform with gold earrings and her traditional makeup. Ties her hair up with a gold ribbon for cooking and science. Has a practically literal heart of gold.

Krystal Storm: Ice Faerie/Lake monster 16. White/ice blue with black roots usually pulled up in pigtails and deep brown eyes. She accents her uniform with a snowflake necklace. She is bouncy and sometimes louder than she means to be, but she did come from a place where if you spoke above a whisper, it would instantly cause an avalanche.

Jade Lin Mah: Dragon, 18. Medium length shaggy black hair and bright green eyes literally the color of jade. Wears his uniform plain as the scaling on his cheeks and fore arms show anyway. He seems quiet and cold at first, but he is actually shy and unsure of everyone around him. Growing up in a temple on Mount Everest will do that to a person.

Vivian Lovette: Banshee, 18. Long violet hair and pink eyes. Her uniform she accents with a bunch of jewelry. They jingle as she walksor floats down the hallway. As with most the banshee in the school, she is loud and thinks she owns the place.

Terrence Richards: Vampire??, 20 Second year student. Short brown hair and chocolate eyes. Accents his uniform with his family crest ring. Can pretty much best anyone in any sport. Team captain for both the swim and lacrosse teams. He never talks down to anyone and wishes his girlfriend wouldn’t either. Currently dating Vivian. He’s very cool and collected just like his uncle and also studying for medical practices.

Slater Thomas: Ghoul, 20 second year. Jet black hair and bright red eyes. He accents his uniform with leather gloves. He is very much the opposite of his best friend Terrence. He thinks he should take his family traditions and practices much more seriously. Slater is very much your typical jock. Co-captain on most every team. He doesn’t like the New bloods program. He hates hybrids due to their complex biologies. He has a huge crush on Vivian but knows she won’t notice him.

Jessica Le Fonte: Pixie, 22 Second year. Short hot pink hair with a few black streaks in it and neon fuchsia eyes. She accents her uniform with her piercings and leather bracelets. She is super protective of the younger students and does not put up with anyone getting bullied. She thinks there is something seriously wrong with Slater and keeps her eyes on him warning the New Bloods and younger students to stay away from him. Pixies are notorious for pranks and riddles though, so rarely anyone takes her seriously.

Kassie Gale: Newborn Vampire/???, 18. Long pale lavender hair. One of her eyes are bright blue while the other is a pale silver. She keeps that one covered at all times. She has silver markings all over her body that she keeps covered with makeup. Because she was not born a vampire she can still see her reflection. She accents her uniform with a moon shaped hair comb she keeps in her hair every day. She is very timid at first. She had never even believed such creatures existed. She loves to dance and sing more than anything. She came to the school through recommendation after the theater she was performing in caught fire and she had nearly died if not for the mystery man who turned her.

De stad Lille in Frankrijk, het lijkt heel ver weg maar is zo dichtbij. Het is net zo ver, zo niet dichterbij dan de stad Maastricht vanaf Utrecht. In tweeënhalf uur tijd sta je midden op de Grand Place in Lille, een mooi vertrekpunt om de stad te verkennen met name op shopgebied. Veel merkwinkels zoals Longchamp (rue Lepelletier), Lacoste, Hermès, Petit Bateau, Aigle en Repetto (rue de la Grande Chaussée). Maar de echte leuke winkeltjes tref je in de kleine zijstraatjes.

Met name rue Basse, rue Bartholomé Masurel en rue la Monnaie zijn de moeite waard. Tussendoor drink je een drankje op 1 van de terrassen op Place Gilleson, haal je wat delicatessen op rue d’Angleterre en neem je een prachtig taartje mee van patisserie Meert, (rue Esquermoise) dat trouwens zit naast Comtesse du Barry, een geweldige delicatessenwinkel. Een lekker hapje en een goed glas wijn nuttig je, voordat je weer huiswaarts gaat naar Nederland, bij Fluxia. Een keten met vestigingen in onder andere Parijs en Bordeaux.

Eigenlijk te kort zo’n dagje want er is nog genoeg te zien en te doen. Zo stonden de aankondigingsborden voor de grote braderie van begin september al in de stad en kan je tot 20 augustus, als het mooi weer is genieten op Lille Plage aan Boulevard de Strasbourg. Ook een bezoek aan het Palais des Beaux Arts,na het Louvre in Parijs, het grootste kunstmuseum van Frankrijk, is de moeite waard. Kortom….zeker een keertje doen zo’n dagje Lille!
