Fun facts about my ocs part 2!!

Ruv is 26 (so hes like... the same age as ranpo and nikolai) and Veton is around 37 if I'm correct :3

VETON: When Veton was younger he had a younger brother and a mother, his father was never around much and his mother only said that he would go on 'vacations'. One day, however, an earthquake hit and Veton was the only survivor, leaving his younger brother and mother dead. Looking through things of his mother's in the rubble, he found out that his father had actually raped and impregnated her, leaving a baby girl killed before having a chance to be born. Due to this, Veton grew a strong protection over children and women and a slight dislike for men, although he keeps it to himself.

That same day when he was sobbing and mourning his family, a young girl had offered her help, promising that since her family owned a Theatre and she was going to be the owner of it soon, that she could offer a family. Despite seeming kind, she often abused him, hitting him and making harsh remarks while also being the only one to provide him comfort, basically making Veton reliant on her.

Growing up with the girl, he'd grown used to being around her, developing stockholm syndrome. After she had indeed taken the Theatre from her parents, she made Veton one of the contestants of year 1. After him coming out as the winner, she silently murdered all other participants and made Veton go through a series of tests to see if she could use him as a bodyguard of sorts. The last test being burning his face with different things, causing him to go blind in his right eye, that being the reason he wears the mask. She gave him the role of the insect.

RUV: Ruv lived in poverty with his mother and father. Due to his parents having a tradition of cannibalism passed onto the family, no one dared to go near them in a fear of being killed. Due to the hunger, Ruv's mother had offered her limbs for him to feast on, and unfortunately he did comply despite not wanting to. His mother and father eventually died to either hunger or illness.

Ruv stayed alone, developing insomnia due to feeling nauseous for staying near the rotting bodies of his parents. He stayed there for around a week, finding comfort in talking to hallucinations and feasting on whatever organs and limbs his parents had left. Eventually, a woman and an older man(Veton) by her side found him, and the woman asked him a series of questions. Amusing her, she ordered Veton to pick the boy up as they were bringing him 'home', to which Ruv did not move and agreed to be taken.

Following in Veton's footsteps, he eventually won the 2nd year of the Theatre competition. His test was different and much more cruel, as a knife was used to slit open his mouth, showing his teeth and gums on either side due to the scars. He eventually developed retrograde amnesia, not letting him remember anything before the death of his mother and father. Similarly to Veton, he is drawn to motherly figures. Due to not growing up like he was supposed to, he's much more immature than a normal 26-year-old is. He was given the role of the bird with a mask that covered his scars.

Veton Verso and Ruv Yashava!

Who are they?

Veton and Ruv were originally ocs I made for a custom JJBA part (along with tons other ocs I might add in the future). They work under the main villain of the series, Guusje.

What are they capable of?

Veton has the ability to make ropes. May sound boring but it really isn't. These ropes have strong durability and good range. They spread around the area and are able to latch onto people like leeches, and after enough time, they will melt and become one with the victim. Unfortunately the more ropes Veton makes, the more energy he has to use.

(Cannibalism and blood mentions under the cut!)

As for Ruv, not only is he a cannibal and has naturally sharp canines, though he has an ability related to blood as well. If the victim has a wound that is dripping blood, Ruv is able to slowly suck out the blood from that wound. It's a slow process, so he usually does it sneakily or causes more wounds via biting through their flesh. He carries a dagger with him, but Veton carries a gun.

Why do they do what they do?

This is tied to their backstory and will have to be found out by interacting with them! Long story short, both of them were in horrible circumstances until Guusje found them.

What are the masks they wear?

Guusje has a mask of her own, and with Ruv and Veton being her highest 'bodyguards', she had given them masks as well. Hers being a bear's, Veton's resembling an insect, and Ruv's resembling a bird. Their masks also have another symbolism based off the wounds/scars they have. Ruv is 'speak no evil', Veton is 'see no evil', and Guusje is 'hear no evil'.

How do I interact with them?

VETON VERSO

"Tangled Dreams" (song by wisp)

This allows him to create ropes. They're durable, have a long range and come from either his Stand or from his own body depending on the universe.

These ropes are usually used to restrain people, but if they're attached to someone for long enough they can even begin melting into the opponent's skin and become one with them. Terrifying.

RUV YASHAVA

"Rasputin" Self-explanatory...

Ruv's ability is related to blood. If someone has an injury he can use his Stand/ability to start sucking the blood out of the person (although slowly). To speed up the process he must cause more and more cuts and injuries. The amount of blood also depends on where the victim is injured.

To cause more injuries he tends to use his sharp teeth to bite people.

ALEKS RYUSHKAVIK

"Face The Facts" not based off anything!

Aleks' Stand/ability manifests as a being with a number on their chest. Aleks can tell a lie and, if 7 people genuinely believe his lie, that lie will come true. When the limit is reached, the number goes back to zero and there's a cooldown.

BALLORONA

"Sohodolls", based off the singer(s). Ballorona herself is somewhat based off the song "Bang Bang Bang" by Sohodolls.

Ballorona's Stand/ability allows her to create realistic illusions based off her opponent's deepest fear(s). The closer the person is to her, the more realistic they are.

However, the further they get from her, the illusions slowly start to fade away.

MIEM

"A Burning Memory", based off the song by the same name.

Miem's ability allows them to summon almost invisible boxes they and whoever they allows in can enter. By creating boxes in different areas, they can go from one box to another.

Due to the nature of their ability, they and Ballorona often work together.

Though, once they summons a box, it will take 3 hours for them to unsummon it, so it'll be there for a while even if they aren't using it.

DROPS RUV LORE.

Tw for cannibalism hallucinations and implied abuse

Cannibalism had always been a tradition in Ruv's family, passed on from generation to generation. This caused the Yashava family to be quite hated and ridiculed daily, no one offering their help to the family in poverty

Ruv was starving and that was clear, and he was pretty close to dying of starvation before his mother offered her arm to him. He refused at first but his father urged him to, and he eventually did

Both his mother and father couldn't find food- normal food or not, they couldn't find anything, and cannibalism was a last resort. Eventually the mother died of illness and the father of starvation.

Ruv would stay by their bodies and wrap himself around them, wanting at least a little warmth in the cold weather. He refused to eat them at first but eventually his hunger would kill him if he didn't eat and he couldn't suffer that long.

He would lose sleep due to the disgust he felt toward himself because of eating his own parents. He'd sometimes hear their voices, having small conversations before the bodies went silent

"Ruv, you need to eat more," they would say,

"I can't," He would respond, "I can't look at your bodies for this long. I'm going insane."

"You already have gone insane."

And he stayed silent.

For a few days he laid in the snow, silent and looking at the sky with his parents' bloodied bodies close to him, staining the snow red. The only thing he had being his ushanka and the clothing his parents would find for him

A young Guusje and older Veton would soon find the boy. She silently ordered Veton to take Ruv with them, making a gesture- Veton flinching heavily in the process- but he did as told, holding the frail boy in his arms.

Eventually Ruv would become a winner of the Theatre's 2nd competition. His exam held the same levels of sufferig as Veton's, his final test being different though, both sides of his mouth being cut with a knife.

In the present he clings onto Veton since he sees him as a brother figure and he sees Guusje as a mother figure of sorts as well. He's quite immature since he hasn't completely grown mentally yet, and he has retrograde amnesia, unable to remember anything prior to meeting Guusje and Veton.

It's a type of amnesia that makes you forget things before a certain traumatic event happened!!
