ikuko pics from earlier this year!! my friends let me dress up at their place and pose with some books etc, co-starring their cat mochi. i also brought her to otakon this past july!!

she was my first fully from-scratch cosplay outfit and i am very happy with our weird old gal! the dress, coat, and shawl are all handmade. the brooch is a 3d-printed model that i matched to the dimensions of a big ol rock i got, same with the necklace gem. actually, i built the dress twice: once just on a basic pattern and a second time when i was more comfortable modding patterns to get the coiled frills to integrate cleanly

The Translator, Vier Dreissig

i got to run around looking and acting Extremely Normal with a friend in this genuinely-kind-of-unsettling parking lot basement it was a lot of fun

i made her coat and ribbon/charm myself! (thanks to some help from another buddy with 3d printer access.) the shirt is a heavily modded off-the-shelf polo. vier and takano are both very fun to play and i will definitely be returning to them...!

this is i think the best photoshoot i've ever done, i love how everything came out, it was a fun location and we captured so much unsettling atmosphere... please read higanbana (even tho it's a very difficult vn to recommend, haha)

i custom-made most of the outfit elements for her, and also tried to edit the photos in a way that reflects the original art style. she was a very fun project on the whole!

Rare outfit: Springtime Takano (but it's Autumn 🤫) for Takano Tuesday!!

Her outfit from the end of Sotsu is so cozy… Actually I want to give the skirt a second go, this one ended up flowier than I'd want, but that's for later. If anyone makes Spring Tomitake I will go with you to the DC cherry blossom festival next year
