I was tagged by @idlenight-art a few days ago but am only now getting around to it because I usually don’t share wips lol. however ! I have been working on a storyboard for an animation of Angel and John for a while in my free time. here’s a few favorite shitty sketches

HEHE YAY 4. what does their villain armor look like? what is their typical style of dress? The Black Hound's suit is very visibly armored and colored like an oil spill- rivulets of shifting neons on black and dark teal. It has some little pseudo ears to nod to the dog thing, but that really more metaphorical than literal lol. never forget death is following you! :)

Angel as themself dresses extremely done up as a blatant mask. One of Angel's biggest fears is aging, so they feel unnatural without even their unmarked skin covered in either cloth or makeup. They never leave the house without a full face, gloves, and at least one Nazar. Outside of the trauma responses, they like vintage fashion because it allows for full body coverage while still being made for everyday wear in a hot city. They have genuinely two hobbies and one of them in thrifting. 17. what is their ultimate goal?

hoo boy, ain't that the question? So, Angel is motivated by fate. One of the ways I've described them is that Angel would genuinely be the perfect regene cuckoo if it wasn't for their dumb stupid transgenderism. That's the only reason they left the Farm. They needed to transition. But the thing is, Angel never left the mindset of needing a handler. When it wasn't the farm it was the heroes, when it wasn't the heroes it was... something. Maybe fate, maybe their untreated psychosis, something. They don't know what they're doing, but something in them needs them to burn Los Diablos' wealthy and powerful to the ground. They're just a soldier.

As for concrete goals, they don't really have any. Basically just scare the shit out of rich people until someone finally kills them.

One more thing to add on this subject- a big aspect of how I write Angel's psyche is that they have VERY intense alexithymia. They are genuinely almost incapable of looking inward, and when they do, they can't name anything they find. They've cobbled their mind together from the thoughts of others, and only know why they're doing what they're doing if it's fueled by pure logic.
