I have a new oc <3 she doesn’t have a name yet but she’s friends with Ryuu (and is one of the biggest catalysts for him realizing he’s being a fucking idiot)
ID: [a pencil sketch on notebook paper of op’s ocs, an unnamed woman with a thin, slightly curvy build, light skin, and long dark hair, and Ryuunosuke Itori, a short teenage boy with a thin build and curly dark hair worn in braids and wearing glasses. They are running side by side into the ocean, water splashing around them. The sketch is very messy.] /End ID

So for those unaware, if you take a peak at my blog, you will see there tends to be two stories I tend to focus on the most, and then a bunch of outliers. The two most prevelant are The Promise of the Cherry Blossoms, and the triple gen story.
The promise of the cherry blossoms, aka basketball story, is a story about a high school basketball team. The main themes are there’s more to others than what’s on the surface, as well as second chances, change, and growth. The story focuses on every member of the team at some point, and everyone is intended to have just as rich and complex stories as the others. Initially, the protagonist was supposed to be Yuta Ito, but he has since lost his role as protagonist. Now there is none, so it can focus on each character and their unique story without having to worry about tying in a protagonist to each one. It’s clear that I have favorites in the cast though, you will likely see a lot of Hotaru Ibe and Ryuunosuke Itori, as their stories are my favorites to write about (Ryuu’s is also probably the darkest out of every story however). Other favorites include Yuta, Kiyohiko Suzuki, Seki Matsuda, and Kazuha Yumeno. Despite the fact that you’ll probably see these characters most often, the story contains at least 14 characters that I wish to focus on at some point. The plots can vary greatly, some focusing on stuff as simple as a crush, while others can get as intense as coping with ptsd and gang violence. Most stories however, tend to focus on identity in some way.
The triple gen story is very different. It’s a massive story that spans across three generations of a family tree in a fantasy realm. The family tree goes Naga Delirium (gen 1) + Solum (gen 1) = Uri Glassbloom (gen 2) + Yuu Mizuno (gen 2)= Future Glassbloom (gen 3). Future is one of my favorite ocs, hence why he’s the poster child of this blog. Each story is very conceptually different, but are connected through these characters relations. Gen 1 is a classic middle grade book style fantasy isekai, about a kid who doesn’t fit in getting whisked away to a magical world and discovering that’s where they were meant to be all along. There’s a lot more to the plot than just that, but it was essentially created by 11 year old me as wish fulfillment. The protagonist is Nobody Snaphook, and their companions are Lou, Solum, and Naga Delirium. I don’t work with this Gen of the story much, but Naga is my favorite to draw out of all of them. Gen 2 is a lot more in depth, and is set in the fantasy realm around a magical library and it’s apprentices and is a good vs evil story. All of the characters have their time to shine based on who I’m hyperfixating on at the moment, and the protagonists are Yuu and Izumi Mizuno, and Uri Glassbloom. There are tons of other characters though, such as Roman, Migi and Hidari, Obsession, Sayuri, and more. Gen 3 is arguably my favorite, and is a lot more complex both in lore and in plot. It’s a multiverse story, but not in the popular style that’s permeating the film industry rn. It’s about a boy, Future, traveling dimensions for years and years attempting to get home to his family with his two friends, Kim and Piper Antsy in tow, all while being hunted down by a mysterious spider shape shifter and someone from Kim’s past. It’s a story that revolves mostly around internal conflicts and one’s relationship with themself among other things. Which story I work on most totally varies, but it can be expected that Gen 1 will likely get the least attention lol.

Ryuu 🌟 kind of a redraw of an older piece under the cut. Also I’m a failure if an oc creator I literally made his eyes the wrong color but idc
ID: [a digital drawing of op’s oc ryuunosuke itori. He’s a teenage boy with slightly tanned skin and curly black hair worn in two short braids and green eyes with deep purple bags underneath. He wears blue glasses and a green sweater and has a cigarette in his mouth. He has a vaguely upset expression. He is standing against a night sky.] /End ID

A Ryuu drawing that I gave up on when I got to the lighting effects 👍
ID: [ a drawing of op’s oc, Ryuu. He has pale skin and curly bluish-black hair worn in two short braids and light blue glasses. He wears a green sweater over a white button up. He is turned in profile view, facing the left. He has an empty expression. Neon green smoke is coming out of his mouth and surrounding his head. Neon green highlights reflect onto him, and the rest of him is covered in a dark dramatic shadow. The background is dark blue with green stars ] /End ID
