Saab meluncurkan kapal mata-mata terbaru SIGINT (signals intelligence) untuk memenuhi pesanan Angkatan Laut Swedia. Kapal mata-mata ini diberi nama HMS Artemis, yaitu diambil dari nama dewi berburu Yunani kuno. Pengumuman nama kapal ini disampaikan oleh Laksda Jens Nykvist dari AL Swedia. Peluncuran berlangsung di PGZ Stocznia Wojenna di Gdynia pada 17 April 2019. Turut hadir perwakilan pemerintah Polandia, Kelompok Persenjataan Polandia (PGZ), Saab sendiri serta perwakilan dari AL Swedia dan tamu undangan lainnya. Saab menerima kontrak untuk merancang dan membangun kapal berkemampuan intelijen ini dari Administrasi Pertahanan Material (FMV) Swedia pada 2017. Pemerintah Swedia sendiri memutuskan pada 22 April 2010 untuk mengakuisisi kapal baru guna menggantikan HMS Orion karena kemampuannya dinilai sudah tidak memenuhi harapan.
