Asterius watches the strange cautiously, feeling something sinister and dark in the air around them. However, he still wishes to be polite, so he bows his head, always keeping them in his line of vision.

"I am Asterius, prince of Crete," he states as he straightens his back once more. "Do you have a name you wish to share, stranger?"

The next words are also said cautiously, but with a hint of steel behind them. "I do not think it wise to try to assign purposes to people you have just met, dear shadow." He huffs and snorts, shaking his head. "My purpose is to live as I wish."
