#why is the titanic thing important? well i'm glad you asked #when they first meet cas is rose. formal education yearning to break free etc. dean is jack offering a new perspective on life #then as time goes on they switch. cas becomes jack acting as (believing himself to be) a stepping stone in dean's story #sacrificing himself so dean can live free of the control of society (god)#dean becomes rose. suffocating and desperately trying to claw his way out of his own destiny #dean and cas are jack and rose. then rose and jack. so yeah it matters #rain posts
