📍Sanjauli I was in Shimla for few days and it was raining cats and dogs there. I stayed indoors mostly because of the rain but one afternoon it suddenly stopped raining and I along with a friend decided to drive and go somewhere from where we could see the whole valley. We drove on "Thandi Sadak, Shimla" and reached a point from where we could see Sanjauli. We enjoyed the view for a while and then it started raining again. Fortunately, I took some photos for myself and for you guys. My hometown! What is love for you? For me it that feeling of belongingness. The feeling of being safe. The feeling of being respected. I get it all in my hometown. I love my hometown. No matter how far I travel, I always come back home. There is no other place like home. It has my emotions attached to it. Whenever I think about my hometown it makes me remember my childhood and my family. Thinking about it makes me relive my childhood memories. The places I used to hang out with my school friends. No matter how silly, childish and useless our conversations were we still used to laugh a lot. Believe me, I still laugh at those jokes whenever I think about them. I am from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. I shot this picture in March but I didn't share it till now because I was not ready to express what I felt when I took this picture. I think today is that day. Yes, things go wrong in life. Yes, sometimes sadness sneaks in even when you stay positive all the time. Yes, that smile can fade. Yes, it can feel wrong to stay positive all the time. Yes, life is hard. Yes, life is cruel. But Yes, we can say no to negativity. Yes, we can grab on to that hope. Yes, we can gather that strength again. Yes, we can learn to love ourselves again. Yes, the time will change. It never stopped and it never will. Be like that mountain. No matter how hard the forest tries to hide you under that darkness. I love how it feels when you come out of the ocean. My mind still can't process the fact that I can spend an hour underwater. You keep reliving the moment again and again. When I wake up I say , " Today is my day " because no one can motivate me the way I can. I know so many of us are feeling low. I will never tell you to ignore that feeling instead I will tell you to acknowledge that. Stop living in denial. Stop ignoring the fact that you are sad. To fix anything you first need to accept that something isn't right. Believe me, once you do that you will start feeling better. With so much negativity and chaos around us, it is obvious that our mental health will suffer. It is important that we start taking small measures to keep ourselves sane. I am trying to find my happy place to fill myself up with positivity. Someone recently asked me why are you posting these travel pictures and why are you making YouTube videos? In reply to that, I only want to say that I am a positive person and I will never stop spreading positivity. I post with the hope that someone will read it and can find their happy place in my photos and videos. As I said, there is so much negativity around us and I don't want to contribute to that. They say the bond you make underwater lasts forever. I believe there is a reason behind it. When you trust someone unknown with your life and they don't disappoint you. You end up building a bond which can never be broken. Being underwater together and experiencing that beauty. My god I am having goosebumps writing this caption. Imagine yourself underwater, surrounded by the beautiful fishes and never ending sea. Did you know that I keep a seperate budget for coconut water whenever I travel to coastal areas?⠀ ⠀ When I was in philippines, I realised that I was spending a lot of money on coconuts.⠀ ⠀ I discussed it with my friends whom I met there and realised I spent almost equal amount on coconut water which they spent on beer.⠀ ⠀ I am telling you this because I freaking spent ₹3050 in 10 days ( Gokarna and Goa combined ) on coconuts.⠀ ⠀ Each coconut costed me ₹50 on an average.
