He had never understood any of Muku’s romance manga but he was slowly starting to understand what it meant to want to protect someone’s smile.

He can be thoughtful and display his honest feelings, but you had to understand that he’s human above all else. He’s not the charming prince persona he was forced to play countless times in his Godza days; he didn’t always know what to say, and sometimes he might be too blunt, but it didn’t make the love he felt for you any less real.
