Nicknames: lol, I mean, my fake internet name is basically a nickname, also “C”, all the broski, brosauce, etc variations me and my bestie use, speaking of, could also consider Elsa a nickname, or Cristina, because we are stone cold adults to refer to each other as our respective personality double in favourite duos (Elsa and Anna, and Meredith and Cristina) - yeah, we know we are fucking lame. My sister calls me “Titly”, which means butterfly, you may now also refer to me as Your Majesty, because I bought Elsa’s crown as a birthday gift for myself and gave myself a coronation, thereby legally making me Arendelle’s Queen. This is how it works now right? Declaring something online immediately makes it true.

Real name: Clara, lol, it’s not, it’s just what I’ve been using online for nearly a decade or so now, so what’s the point? But my real middle name is “Taika”, which is a name I share with Taika Waititi, which is cool.

Zodiac: Scorpio

Favourite Musicians / Band: Taylor Swift, Dima Bilan, Sergey Lazarev, Anime OST (deep into Code Geass and Bleash OST atm, god they were iconic), OST in general, KAZKA (thank you again so much @pulltheskydown for introducing me to her), Alma, Amir, Rihanna, Polina Gagarina, been in a Britney mood the last few weeks. Idk, I just have music I like, and music I don’t like, and some people I am very thirsty for. Also, also, literally any song from any Shahrukh Khan movie. I always was, still am, and always will be, one of those SRK loving bitches. The man is ICONIC.

Do I get asks?: Once in a blue moon.

Favourite sports team: I support the national teams ‘cause Go Canada Go or whatever. Also more invested in the Raptors than I ever thought I’d be, but hey, them winning the NBA last year gave me more serotonin than I ever thought boring sports could give me. It’s still so boring, but I do follow the scores when they appear on CP24 (local news channel), feels good when your city’s teams win. Guess that means by default I also support the Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs, but whatever.

Other blogs: lol, you are talking to the Queen of Too Many blogs right here. My first ever main was @livesinabluebox (which has gone through a few url changes, namely melanin-monster and moonrxvenge, but it’s 2012 again so I switched back to my og url), I’m trying to clear out all my likes so I’m still posting there, but trying to move to my new main over @moonrxvenge. And I also have 600 million sideblogs for characters and roleplays and resources and whatever. I have so many that I need to keep a masterlist, and yes, it is HELLA out of date. (I still say hella)

Tumblr Crushes: meh, I never really befriended people on tumblr until much more recently, and like all those people are friends I made elsewhere, ie polyvore (I shy, tumblr scary and got far too many stupid peoples opinions).

Lucky numbers: as a kid I considered 7 and 13 lucky, also 735 or something like that for islam reasons I forgot, but I don’t have any now. I think it’s all bull.

What am I wearing: blue pajamas. my shirt says “happy monday - said nobody ever”, it is thursday.

Dream holiday: Russia and Japan are definitely my number ones, all the historical places like the Winter Palace and Himeji Castle, and the cities.

Dream car: Tesla, it was a blue Model S, but that was 5 years ago (4? 3? idk, a time ago) and I’m sure there are newer models now that I am too lazy look up

Favourite food: Macarons

Drink of choice: Tim Hortons Ice Coffee with a shot of caramel

Instruments: I technically played the flute for a year (maybe three) in middle school music class, but it was mandated and I don’t remember. I could play the beginning of To Love’s End from Inuyasha back then, but not now. I can play the main tune, like just the first few notes, of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s main theme on the piano, but I just memorized the keys. Idk the actual notes. F or G or E I guess? Idk.

Languages: English, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, technically French, but I didn’t really retain anything from it, like I can read French, but got little to no idea what I’m saying. Straight up surprised when I do understand. I think it’s in there, but barely. Also supposed to be able to speak Arabic, but retained less of that than French.

Celebrity crushes: Chris Evans, Jenna Coleman, SRK (lol, since I was born probably), Kajol, Bruna Marquezine, Yuki Kimisawa, and loads of others. I’m a hoe for the fictional and the theoretical, what can I say?

Random facts: Buying notebooks and using them are two entirely different hobbies, and, okay, this isn’t like interesting in the least but I am OBSESSING over the drama that went down between Salman Khan and Zayn over his cover of Allah Duhai Hai - yeah, I know I’m 2 years late to this, but whatever, no fucking told me about it and I can’t find any definitive information and I’m going crazy! Please, someone explain what happened 'cause I am dying!!! I need to know!! (also, salman fans don’t interact, vo kuni hai yaar, tu phagal hai kya?)

10 Iconic On-Screen Couples of All-Time

As someone who grew up watching the same romance tropes used over and over again, I can almost immediately figure out on which on-screen couples have actual chemistry or not and a big part of it comes from the couples friendship off-screen. Some of them are really solid while others just straight up despise each other, and these relationships really affect the way their characters interact on-screen. Here, I’ll discuss 10 on-screen couples that are just too good together (in my opinion!)

1. AMITABH AND REKHA

One of the most controversial couples of Bollywood, the Amitabh-Rekha formula was a hit after the film Do Anjaane (1976). Although the pair starred in 10 movies opposite each other, their most talked about movie with Jaya Bachchan was the 1981 film Silsila. The movie focused on a love triangle between Bachchan, his wife Jaya, and Rekha, and it was so controversial because many thought that it was a real life depiction of the three’s relationship. Although the pair haven’t collaborated after Silsila, they now seemed to have gotten over it and started respecting each other as they began greeting each other in award functions and whatnots.

2. SRK AND KAJOL

This duo is basically like two puzzle pieces; they fit perfectly! The actors paired up for the first time in the 1993 thriller Baazigar and went on to star in 8 more movies. Those include Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), Karan Arjun (1995), and of course Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), which is the longest running Bollywood movie ever. Off-screen, they are very good friends that still talk and work with each other, which shows that they are very well connected and it helps in improving their characters’ chemistry. The romance and connection between them is so natural that you forget for a moment that they aren’t a real couple!

3. RAJ AND NARGIS

The oldest on-screen couple in this list, the successful actors were paired with each other for the first time in 1948′s Aag. Although the film did an average job in the box office, the pair did the 1949 film Barsat, which went on to be a hit. They then starred in many blockbusters together, including Shree 420 (1955), Awaara (1951), and Chori Chori (1956). Even though in most of their movies they ended up together, off screen the duo were having an affair for a long time. Nargis wanted to marry Raj, but he refused her proposal, sinking herself into depression before meeting her future-husband Sunil Dutt. If only singing in the rain could make the actors fall in love with each other in real life.

4. SRIDEVI AND ANIL

A very nostalgic couple in my opinion, they were showcased as a couple in the silver screen for the very first time in Mr. India (1987), even though they worked together in two films before this iconic one. They then went on to star in 10 movies together, with the most memorable one being 1991′s Lamhe. Sridevi went on to marry Anil Kapoor’s brother Boney Kapoor and take a 15-year-long hiatus from acting after 1997′s Judaai. On screen they were so comfortable together and a big part of it comes from the the actors real-life relationship. Many of the 80′s-90′s kids wished that they would collaborate again, but sadly it seems to be left as a dream after Sridevi’s untimely death.

5. AAMIR AND JUHI

Probably one of my favorite couples of all time, Aamir and Juhi starred together in the movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), which was a successful venture. The duo went on to star in movies like Ishq (1997) and Love Love Love (1989). Although on-screen the couple shared great chemistry, off-screen they weren’t really in good terms. According to Aamir, the petty fight started in the set of Ishq where Aamir would avoid Juhi at all costs. The actors didn’t get in touch for seven years and when they did, it was when Aamir was getting a divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta. The actors are now in talking terms and I seriously hope they do a movie together again.

6. VARUN AND ALIA

Hands down the generation’s most prominant on-screen couple is Varun-Alia. Both of them debuting in Student of the Year in 2012 with Siddharth Malhotra, the interviews they give together indicates a rock solid friendship between them. The duo continued starring alongside each other in Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania (2014), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Kalank (2019), most of them being hits. Whats there not to love about them? Both of them are equally charming and they steal all your attention whenever they are on-screen. And even though they are the newest/youngest couple in the list, I can say undoubtedly that in the future years, they’ll star in more romantic blockbusters opposite each other.

7. SALMAN AND MADHURI

Let’s be honest: after the hit Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), you thought they were a match made in heaven. Although they starred in other movies before, this classic 90′s movie with a generic plot showed how much chemistry they have and its the kind that you don’t come across that often. In film promos, interviews, and reality shows it is apparent that the two actors have a very friendly relationship together. There is little to no hatred nor pettiness between them and they praise each other as artists whenever they can. They are basically the example of how memorable a movie can be if the right actors with a strong friendship are put opposite each other.

8. HRITHIK AND AISHWARYA

*sigh* Where do I even start? The two equally gorgeous stars were opposite each other for the first time in Dhoom 2 (2006), a film that lacked a good script but was saved by the performances and the connection of the duo. The public loved them together on the silver screen (even though they were very against their kissing scene), so two years later they were starred in the award-winning Jodha-Akbar (2008), one of the best period films Bollywood has to offer. Although their next film together, Guzaarish (2010), was a box office failure, it didn’t falter the friendship and respect both the actors have for each other. I really do hope that they will work in more films together soon.

9. KATRINA AND AKSHAY

Even though they have a prominent age gap between them (15 year, to be exact), there is no denying the fact that they work very well together. First paired up in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006), they later on worked together in films like Namastey London (2007) and Singh Is Kinng (2008). Growing up in the 2000′s, I grew up watching their films with comedy and romance and the fact that they are gonna be back at it again with Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi (2020) just has me squealing with joy! Both the actors have grown so much (especially Kaif) and much of the growth comes from them learning from each other, which I have to commend to.

10. RANBIR AND DEEPIKA

One of the biggest reasons I love their dynamic is not just because they look cute together. It is because of how much they have grown and are willing to overlook each other’s differences. They started dating in 2007 and worked in their first film together, Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008). Ranbir cheated on Deepika 2 years later, which caused them to break up. The media treated the news like hot gossip and there are many outrageous theories made out there, but somehow the actors learned to persevere and continued to work in more films together. Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani (2013) and Tamasha (2015) both have great performances from both the actors and themes.

Latest Happening In Aryan Khan’s Arrest

On 2nd October 2021, The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid on the cruise ship Cordelia traveling to Goa from Mumbai.

In the raid, NCB founds drugs and arrested 8 people at that time. One of the detained people was Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The arrest was conducted on the charges of consumption, sale, and purchase of narcotic drugs.

23-year-old Aryan Khan is represented by lawyer Satish Maneshinde, who had previously defended Rhea Chakraborty. On 7th October 2021, Aryan Khan and the seven other accused were sent to 14 days of judicial custody by the Mumbai magistrate's court. After which Satish Maneshinde, the lawyer of Aryan, had filed for bail plea.

All the accused were taken to undergo the Covid-19 RT-PCR and other medical tests. At the lawyer's request, the court approved the stay of Aryan Khan, and others charged at the NCB office as the jail doesn't take intake at night time.

The Esplanade Magistrate court heard the bail plea on Friday, 8th October at 12.30 pm. The counsel for Aryan Khan had filed two bail applications before the court. The two application types were interim bail, which allows the 23-year-old to be released right away, and regular bail, which will enable Aryan to be released while the matter is being investigated.

According to the NCB, Aryan Khan's confinement should be extended since the agency must confront him and Arbaaz with another suspect, Achit Kumar, who was apprehended based on Aryan's disclosures. NCB has already objected to regular bail under the NDPS Act, 1985.

While asking for bail, Satish Maneshinde said that Aryan was not interrogated and kept under custody for the last two nights and that the custody should not be extended. Maneshinde argued that Aryan has no connection to any of the organizers, and he does not deny his friendship with Arbaaz, but he is not connected with Arbaaz's activities. Further, when Aryan was taken to the NCB office, he searched again, and the agency found nothing. They even took Aryan's phone in custody.

In his statement, Aryan said that he reached the gate at the terminal. Arbaaz was also there. Before they could board the ship, NCB asked them questions and searched them. When they started for the ship, they asked questions about taking drugs and then searched his bags. After searching, they found nothing. Furthermore, lawyer Maneshinde stated that Aryan Khan's conversations with Prateek may verify this. He further said that Prateek is also Arbaaz's friend. Hence he was also invited to the cruise.

At the Cruise Party, Aryan Khan was a VVIP guest. Prateek, a friend, invited him to "add glamour" to the party. According to Aryan, Prateek introduced him to someone who knew the organizers. He only went there to add excitement to the cruise. Finally, Aryan stated that more than 1300 people were present on the cruise, and only 17 were arrested.

Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant, and six other people were placed in judicial custody for 14 days after the hearing. The matter will be heard next by a special NDPS court.

In addition to Aryan Khan, the NCB has arrested Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra, Vikrant Chhokar, and a drug dealer from suburban Juhu.

Many fans and celebrities have come in support of Shah Rukh Khan and his family. Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Farah Khan were seen visiting SRK's house. Hrithik Roshan had penned down a note for Aryan Khan on his Instagram in which he told Aryan to 'own' the situation and that these moments are the makers of his tomorrow.

Sunil Shetty told the media, "Give the child a breather and let the real reports come in." Raveena Tandon, Hansal Mehta, Pooja Bhatt, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Mika Singh, Sussanne Khan, and other celebrities supported Aryan Khan.

Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan share a great friendship and we have all the pictures to prove it. Despite going through rough patches on a personal and professional front, these two prove that nothing and no one can get in the way of their bromance.

Recently, we stumbled upon an old interview of Salman, where he had revealed he rejected two big films, ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Chak De! India’, and both the films eventually were then offered to Shah Rukh.

While speaking to a news portal, Salman was asked about refusing ‘Chak De! India’. He went on to reveal that he had also rejected Abbas-Mustan’s ‘Baazigar’. He said that the director duo had come to him with the script and the actor had asked his father Salim Khan for the inputs. The legendary writer had suggested to put an angle of the mother in it. But they refused to make changes in the script. Salman said that when he rejected the film, they went to SRK and then they added the mother angle. But he said that he didn’t regret it at all. The superstar added that if he had done ‘Baazigar’, there would have been no Mannat standing in Bandstand. But he also said that he’s happy for Shah Rukh and his success.

In the same interview, he spilled the beans on why he refused ‘Chak De! India’. He said that he had a problem with the title. He said that he felt that the fans in Pakistan and Bangladesh might feel bad.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly prepping up for his next with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Reports suggest that the film is titled ‘Pathan’. The actor is yet to make an official announcement. While on the other hand, Salman wrapped up the shooting of his next ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in key roles.

Gone are the days when big Bollywood actors would hesitate to star in multi-starrer movies. Today, the actors not only share screen space with their competitors but also graciously play special cameos in each other’s movies.

There have been many movies in the past where A-list actors of Bollywood have played special cameo roles in movies of their Bollywood counterparts. Salman Khan made a cameo in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, SRK too made a special appearance in Salman Khan starrer ‘Tubelight’, so on and so forth.

02/6Salman Khan in ‘Zero’

Salman Khan is one of the most gracious and down-to-earth actors we have in the industry. While he is known to be the Godfather of many newcomers in the industry, he is also one of the most polite and giving actors in Bollywood.

Salman not only recommended his friend Shah Rukh Khan Aanand L Rai’s film, ‘Zero’ but also went ahead to do a small cameo in one of the songs in the movie. In ‘Issaqbaazi’ song, Salman and Shah Rukh are seen matching steps and it was a treat for the sore eyes for all their fans.

03/6Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Tubelight’

Much before Salman became a part of Shah Rukh Khan starrer, the latter had done a special cameo in Salman starrer ‘Tubelight’. The actor was seen playing a magician dressed in colourfully embroidered waistcoat with harem pants, kohl-filled eyes and a tattoo on his face in the film.

Salman had revealed in an interview earlier that it just took him a phone call to convince Shah Rukh Khan to play this role in ‘Tubelight’.

04/6Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan are not only one of the most loved director-actor duos in Bollywood but they also share a great bond of friendship. The filmmaker had the actor play a special cameo in his last directorial venture, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

In the film, Shah Rukh is seen playing ex-husband Tahir Taliyar Khan to Aishwarya. His peek-a-boo appearance in the film was loved by his fans and was one of the major highlights of the movie.

05/6Ranbir Kapoor in ‘PK’

Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’ starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput impressed one and all. The film dealt with an alien who accidentally goes on to break blinding beliefs while searching for his locket he needed to go back home on earth.

The filmmaker called in none other than Ranbir Kapoor to give a remarkable ending to the film in a naked alien avatar and it was simply whistle-worthy.

06/6Amitabh Bachchan in ‘English Vinglish’

Late actress Sridevi starrer ‘English Vinglish’ was one of the most remarkable and much-appreciated films of the actress. Apart from her strong screen presence and brilliant performance in the movie, it was Amitabh Bachchan’s special cameo that stood out in the film.

Sridevi meets Amitabh Bachchan in a flight and their short sequence in the film where the actor is seen helping and comforting Sridevi as a co-passenger was heart-warming.
