This game has left a huge impact on me in ways that most others haven't. It had helped me get through hardships in my life, and inspired me to come up with amazing things surrounding it. I have also got to meet a lot of amazing people!

Bugsnax has meant so much to me that I've had commissioned @esdoesart to do this beautiful piece (based on @dani-k-k's illustration that I love with a passion) to celebrate!

Took me over a week to work on, but it's finally done!

HAPPY (Belated) 2nd ANNIVERSARY BUGSNAX!

I discovered this game when I was going through a rough period in my life, and since then has been living in my head rent free. Have finally started playing it and I'm loving it so far. This game has left such an impact on me so I needed to draw something special to celebrate!

Also, who is this kid that's hugging Filbo? Well, I'm currently working on an AU story that I will get to reveal the details to you in the next post. So stick around! ;)

A sort of a teaser poster for my Bugsnax AU story. It shows how Lizbert and Sam share a lot in common that they become closest companions. We get to the point now where two are starting to contemplate that they're not the only ones present on the island…

Bugsnax OC: Samuel Sandefur

Samuel Sandefur is our main hero in this Bugsnax AU. He is the only human protagonist ever to appear in the story. Sam is a 10-year-old orphan boy known to be a very polite, curious, and soft-hearted individual with a strong passion for adventure. He's always eager to learn new things and to enjoy living life to the fullest. However, he's rather shy, and not quite adept at communicating with other people, especially when he encounters Grumpuses for the first time.

Sam's backstory is shrouded in mystery. Originally a citizen from the human realm, he found his way into a world hidden beyond the Great Red Barrier where it is said to be the home of furry monster-like people called Grumpuses.

Taking place before the events of the game, Sam gets shipwrecked on Snaktooth Island where he meets Lizbert Megafig and her expedition team made up of fourteen members. Their mission is to provide research and collect information about the insect-like food creatures given the name Bugsnax. Sam offers to partake in the expedition since he's been familiar with strange and otherworldly creatures, since to him Grumpuses are considered cryptids. As the boy tries to adjust to his new surroundings on Snaktooth Island under Lizbert's guardianship, Sam will learn important life lessons, and little by little will get to understand the history of the survival of the Grumpuses.

Will Sam be able to get along with any of the Grumpuses? He will surely face many challenges when living with fourteen of them, being the only human on the island. In order to truly be a part of their team, Sam must recognize his own shortcomings and work in many ways to improve himself and build better relations with each Grumpus he interacts with. No matter what risk he takes, he will eventually show all of them the power to fulfill their expedition.

I'll tell you the story of a young human boy who goes to a strange island full of snack creatures and befriends a bunch of muppets!

Meet Samuel Sandefur! He is the central protagonist of this new interesting Bugsnax AU that I've been crafting for some time. Basically, I came up with a premise that a human goes to Snaktooth Island before the events of the game, and that the character plays a significant role in the story. Through Lizbert Megafig's guidance, he partially carries out tasks that the journalist does in the game to some degree. But in this case, this kid is more innocent and wants to learn more about the world around him.

I won't give you much details about this character here, just giving you a sneak preview of what's to come very soon.
