Dear Vector Prime,

Since your species lives so much longer than most organic life, has there ever been an instance of invasive organic species escaping onto Cybertron and evolving into new forms within one cybertronian lifetime?

Dear Cladistically Curious,

Yes; Cosmic Rust and Mecannibals alike first started as harmless interstellar bacteria that we hardly noticed.

There are some hardliners on our world who wish for Cybertron to be "organic free". Their arguments usually boil down to "Sure, things are fine now, but in 3 million years who knows what you're going to get!" I often counter with the fact that we observed homo sapiens evolving for the last 9 million or so years and they are sometimes welcome visitors to our world. My opponents, however, see humans as proving the exact opposite, as they tend to accelerate our timelines from the scale of millions of years to, well, years.

@saurotitan This is for a little original TF universe ive been working on. Shockwave is a dinosaur because he got lost in time chasing Elita and co, and picked a dinosaur to try and overpower them with a "apex predator". However they also had dino modes and also theres more of them so... didn't work lmao. He has a gun mode [original cybertronian mode] and a future jet mode [picked up in time also to try and defeat Elita and co]

Have there ever been pretender shells built for combiners? I don't mean for their individual components, but for the whole gestalt. That seems like it would be difficult to justify as a disguise unless decepticons were running a kaiju protection racket where the shell fought the robot inside

Dear Pretender Ponderer,

I do recall a Defensor who had to resort to using a Pretender shell after Earth was flooded by Cosmic Rust. Such a vile plague would have felled the giant warrior within a few minutes, but by using a shell he was able to fight against the Decepticon Pretender Titans Scorponok and Trypticon.

Naturally, this would be conspicuous, so usually Defensor remained separated into his component Protectobots, who had their own Pretender shells to remain hidden as well.

Dear Vector Prime, I am a big fan of your work, and am glad to hear more from you in this timeline. My question is this: have there been any smilodon-based maximals in any of the various incarnations of the Beast Wars, and if so, what were they like?

Dear Saber-toothed Supplicant,

In one universe, the Maximal Daggertooth scanned a smilodon fossil as the basis for her beast mode. Unfortunately that universe was a short-lived one, existing only as a result of the timestorm created by the machinations of Galvatron and Megatron. Daggertooth was last seen acting as Optimus Primal's bodyguard as he charged into battle against those temporal tyrants.
