A breath exhaled from her lips until she held her breath once more. Sometimes when Aria was writing, she’d get so caught up in putting the words to the paper, that she’d forget to actually breathe.
Aria swiftly pushed her fallen hair behind her ear as she continued to write rapidly against the notebook’s paper. She was writing as if there were no tomorrow, it was her usual pace. She usually wrote like the paper would catch on fire if her ink didnt touch the paper fast enough. Writing in such a frenzy exhilarated her; made her feel alive more than anything.
September’s weather was gorgeous out in Forsyth Park today, and even though she knew she should’ve been doing homework on this gorgeous Saturday, she was too entranced with her own writing to care for schoolwork now; and maybe too intoxicated with who she was writing about.

What did it mean to sleep? For an actual 8 hours that is. Hunter felt that lately, he and sleep were on opposite sides. Maybe that was because he was in a new city and he was still getting used to the way things were done here – especially with his new job. Savannah was definitely different as opposed to the other places he called home. It wasn’t his nerves that he was sure of. Hunter didn’t get nervous, he did however think too much, so that had to be the reason why he couldn’t sleep – his mind just wouldn’t relax.
About a week ago he overheard some students talking about a Smoke Shop over on the Southside called Ring of something...Fire was it? The kids were saying there was some kind of menu and something about relaxing, but that was all he was able to get out of them before the bell rang and he had to order them to get to their classes.
Being in charge – or being able to have some kind of authority was ecstasy for him, even back at Dalton when he was Captain of the Warblers...
“Your destination is on the right.” The GPS announced through his car speakers. Pulling his Range Rover up in the front spot, Hunter took in a breath and exited. Honestly, he had no idea what the hell he was doing, but he usually always did things on a whim anyway.
Pushing the door open, Hunter entered the store and immediately inhaled the aroma as he stepped inside. It tickled his nose, these scents that he sure as hell wasn’t used to. He slipped his hands into the pockets of his fall jacket as he started to move around the smoke shop.

The blonde didn’t know what she was doing at the spot of the fire, but here she was. It wasn’t much anymore because the rubble had been picked up and what was left over had been covered in multiple layers of snow. She still found herself here and getting lost in what had happened. She didn’t know why it was bothering her so much still because compared to some of the others that were involved in what happened that night - she had gotten on scotch free.
She got lost in her own head for a while and then was shaken out of it when she heard the crunch of a footstep in the snow behind her. “Jesus. Have some respect and announce yourself next time.” She glared at the person behind her. “Or wear a bell.”

She could’ve stayed on the Southside, but the store on the Northside held a wider selection of snacks and groceries and if she had to feed almost six people she was going to make sure they had the best of the best. It was easy nowadays to ignore the stares she got from most in the grocery store. Her jacket and style stood out from nearly everyone else but she simply kept her eyes on the shelves and refrained from making a scene. Just as she was reaching for another item, a hand cut across to pick up the same. “Excuse you?”

Today was a pretty rare occasion for Chloe; she was voluntarily spending time outside, skating down the road on her trusty longboard in hopes of finding a skate park or an empty storm-drain to refresh her skills in. See, Wednesdays were what she considered her day off, a day where she doesn’t need to worry about looking for a job, trying to figure out a way to get her GED. Just a day to chill out.
To keep her sane, in a way.
She had tried to keep to herself around here, but her social battery was just BUZZING to be used, so she figured a little friendly conversation at the local park wouldn’t hurt. Stepping off the board and bringing it over to a swingset, she sat down, pulling a cigarette from her jacket’s pocket and lighting it.
“. . . Come here often?”

“It’s sad to say, but its old news. Weeks old news even. The case is shut, the boy’s been buried courtesy of town funds- there’s no more story so you’re best off just canning whatever conspiracy theory you have that in thick skull of yours and leave me be.” her tone was sharp, snappy and cold as she hung up the phone with a huff. For weeks people were still hounding her about the piece. All it took was some shares on social media and suddenly all the conspiracy theorists were creeping out of the woodwork. Because of course, sleepy Savannah had nothing this bad for notoriety before. If there was, it wasn’t in their life time.
Gathering her papers, she chewed at her lip as she shoved them in her briefcase. That was until someone stopped her in her path and she looked up at them with a light scowl. “Whatever it is, I’m busy and it will have to wait. I have a deadline by six to reach-”

“Don’t concern yourself, they can’t fire me, I’m the only one who knows the WiFi router password and login. So, how can I help you?” running a side business out of his regular job was something that everybody knew, but also never spoke about. From tech problems, to hacks, to changing grades electronically, Noah was the guy. He even dabbled in spyware but that was need to know and only special circumstances. But college cost money and even if he was offered grants and special admittance he still wanted funds.

Steady hands traced gently over the sketch pad, pencil gently shadowing around the flower motif. A custom piece, for one of the ladies who worked at the Moonlight drive in. He loved tattooing. It was his niche, his special hobby and something he knew he wanted to do full time. As much as he’d deny it, he was a creative soul. He had the band, his tattooing, and being co-owner of the Wyrm was also a bonus and with he and Hanna regularly discussing on what they wanted to do to expand and change the main serpent hub, Sweet Pea wasn’t against having their own tattoo parlour attached. He had leant back against one of the tree’s in Blossom Park. Dressed in his civilian clothes, he could almost blend in amongst the Northsiders and tourists who frequented there. If it wasn’t for his numerous runed tattoo’s and motifs over his arms and neck. A shadow loomed over the sketch pad, cutting off the natural light and he scowled a slightly. “I’m just sat here, is that a crime?” he asked, not even looking up. If someone had a problem that was on them this time.

Audrey woke up with bright lights shining through the windows of her room. She blinked her eyes hard twice. Damn that was bright. She looked to her left at her night stand... that wasn’t there. She shot up in bed and instantly regretted it. Her whole body ached, but her chest was the worst.
It was then that she remembered what happened not even twenty-four hours prior. There was a fire and she was caught in it. She must have passed out because the next thing she remembered was waking up with an EMT above her carting her off to Savannah General. That must be where she is now. She raised her left arm where there was currently a fluid IV inserted in her wrist. She also just noticed she had oxygen tubing in her nose feeding her lungs pure O2.
She cleared her throat and then reached for the glass of ice water conveniently placed on the bed stand. The water is so cold it burns at first, but she keeps drinking knowing that it would help her in the long run.
Her eyes adjusted to the light enough for her to look out the window. It looked like the sunrise was halfway through. Meaning it was around seven-ish in the morning. She heard a person softly clear their throat from her doorway. She carefully looked in their direction. “Hey... What are you doing here?” Her voice sounded foreign to her ears. It was dry and scratchy.

Toni was always one for wrapping herself up in blankets and watching a scary movie. Any time of the year really, but Halloween was a time where it was more accepted and encouraged. So, she went all out with her costume seeing as she received an invite to an “elusive - invite only” party at Seventh Heaven. And it was also because of this that she decided to breach the Northside to start her day out right at the carnival at Blossom Park. She planned on gorging herself on cotton candy, caramel apples, popcorn - the works - before burning it all off with a few drinks and dancing at the club.
It only took about twenty minutes for Toni to regret her costume choice. The fishnet stockings did nothing for isolation and warmth. She could feel goosebumps arise on her arms and legs almost instantly. She was really stupid to not at least bring her Serpents jacket with her.
“Hey. I never thought I’d run into you here!” She yelled and sprinted to catch up with the person who caught her eye.

Nathan had had a good end to his year all things considered. His and Jamie’s Christmas went through without a hitch. Jamie loved all that he got and hasn’t stopped playing with his drone camera since he opened it. It made Nathan happy that his son was so happy.
He walked back to the school after his lunch and was bombarded by another person. “Hey! You good?” He asked the other.

she wasn’t entirely sure what time it was. all Betty knew was that she had to make it back to the Northside, back to her house before Alice Cooper woke up and sounded the neighborhood alarm. the blonde figured it was sometime in the early hours of the morning, the sun still not visible on the horizon as she quickly made her way down streets she ( thankfully ) knew like the back of her hand. her breathing was coming quickly, hardly allowing herself to even start to think about how she had ended up there in the first place. disoriented, trying to figure out if she was actually awake or this was some kind of nightmare. horrified to realize it was the former as she wrapped her arms tightly around herself.
this wasn’t the first time it had happened, though she would never admit to it. not even to the one person who had seen her there before. breathing a slight sigh of relief as she walked past Pop’s Diner, the darkness of it sending chills down her spine. Betty thought she had made it home free until a voice startled her so badly she almost fell off balance, stopping abruptly instead.
“wh-what? who’s there?” she tried to keep the trembling out of her voice, feeling like the effort was failing miserably.

Alison didn’t know how she was feeling with everything that went on. Sure, she didn’t get physically injured, but being in the situation in and of itself was traumatic. She had been having night terrors the past two nights about the event. She felt like a zombie because her brain had denied her sleep for so long until she literally passed out from exhaustion.
Coming to school with after a classmate, whom she was very familiar with and ran in the same circles as, has died was eerie. Jason was a boisterous young man. One with many friends and acquaintances in many different social circles. Alison didn’t really get along with his sister, but she had no issue with him whatsoever.
Normally Alison was a flashy person, but today she decided to dress more casual and relaxed. She didn’t need or want any attention on her today. Today should be able the Blossoms, Jason’s memory specifically.
She went to her locker and reorganized things that were already organized. She placed her Honors French IV book into her bag and spaced out at the fact that her French class would most likely be missing their self-penned leader, Cheryl Blossom, for a while. In all honesty that made Alison a little sad and she couldn’t pinpoint why.
Her attention was brought from her inner thoughts by somebody walking up to her. “Jesus. You should wear a fucking bell.” Alison unconsciously placed her hand on her chest. She needed to get herself together if she wasn’t going to make it through the day.

“Have you ever seen something so archaic? I mean, really, a beauty pagent? Fucking kill me now.” he said, rolling his eyes disdainfully at the announcement just made for contestants to go to the stage shortly.

“If it doesn’t have at least four shots in it, I won’t drink it. This body, is made up of eighty percent caffeine.” she stated, grabbing her to go cup as she turned to the person next to her. “Would you like something?” she added as an after thought, giving them a friendly smile.
