I wrote a LONG rant that I'm gonna spare you all the pain of scrolling past, but good lord. All I want is for Durge to still be able to be Durge not Tav 2 even if they reject Bhaal. Have the game look at my previous choices, I beg you. Have I been a good boy? Have I been nasty? Have I been enthusiastic about being murder incarnate or not? Make it matter. Allow my Durge's amnesia-plagued ass to develop some personality and don't force them into either the Resurrected Angel Hero or Newborn Bad Guy That Everyone Hates box, please. And give everyone Astarion's level of reactivity to playing that orgin. That's literally all it needs to be the PERFECT experience. Right now it's a half-abandoned mess to me and it hurts my heart because I absolutely adore Durge and their themes, but playing them starts getting so tiring once you progress the story enough to realise that your choices so far hold absolutely no weight and they really have only two pre-programmed personalities that you can chose from during a single bit of dialogue at the end there. Which would make sense if we were not able to completely customise the hell out of them and be given like 4-5 distinct reactions to every story moment they have 🙃
