Our Ghosts Beside
Ryden’s ghost
Name: Sarah Relationship: Fiance  Time of death: Two years ago Cause of death: Shot Age at the time of death: 24 FC: Crystal Reed
He’d only closed his eyes for a second, just to rest them, but it seemed like he’d drifted off to sleep at some point anyway. Morning had crept up on him by the time he’d opened them again.
He’d barely winked in the past couple of days and it finally got to him. How could he ever miss a single moment of this? Maybe it’s the last chance. Maybe it won’t last. Maybe she’ll be gone tomorrow, poof into the same thin air she came from.
His flesh and blood which, unlike her, needed sleep, betrayed him and he had dozed off for a few hours. Thank god she was still there when he woke up, her pale, translucent face right next to his.
“Heya, rockstar.” She gave him a soft smile, not stirring the sheets as she scooted closer. The prick who fired that damn gun at her could not have gotten a better shot even if he’d aimed. But the clear gun wound gaping in the middle of her forehead didn’t make her any less beautiful to him. It just hurt every time he looked at it, made him think if there was a split second when it hurt her too. She said she didn’t remember. He figured it’s best that way.
He reached out to run a hand through her hair, wet and caked with blood at the back where the exit wound was. It fell through her scalp like she wasn’t even there, like she was nothing but room-temperature cloud of steam. He hovered it instead, perfectly aligned with her cheek, so it looked like he was touching her. She closed her eyes as if she could feel it.
“How much time do we have?” She asked, hugging herself, moving as close as she could without her incorporeal body overlapping with his very corporeal one.
“All the time in the world, baby. All the time in the world...”

Name: Craig Baird
Age of death: 23
Date of death: 15th October 2016
Relationship: Childhood best friend, the relationship went sour as they got older.
Explained;
Alessa and Craig were so very close growing up, what little time she spent in Glasgow was spent mainly with Craig and his gang of friends. The closer Alessas family came to moving away the worse their friendship grew, resentment set in and feelings were hurt on both sides when it finally came time to part ways.
A few years past and they grew into teenagers, they reconnected via the internet after a while. Once again it started out amazing, and slowly degraded, this time due to distance and lack of time.
They met in person four times total after they’d both left secondary school, and before Craigs death. Tempers flared at their final meeting and they parted in the worst way they ever had before. A true fight, him spitting venom and her growing all too personal with each insult. It ended with an angry kiss and then her skirt vanishing around the door.
Not too long after that Craig wasn’t around anymore. To say she was shocked when he appeared is an understatement, death too fresh to be glossed over, the fight still running through her head often, it made her crazy. She yelled when he arrived and then shut him out. She couldn’t deal with the facts of their relationship so she decided not to. Radio silence is all Craig would hear for a while. After a short period she’d try to talk to him maybe, but it would take some serious getting used to.
