Me thinking about what the 13th doctor could’ve been if she had been played by Jo Martin and not Jodie Whittaker
#not necessarily shitting on Jodie Whittaker. it’s just we’ve seen her before#it’s like in movies where there’ll be a bunch of male characters in the group with different personality traits and then the one girls#schtick is that she’s the girl. that’s Jodie’s doctor. each doctor before has been their own charcater to some degree. Jodie wasn’t#Jo Martin I feel like would’ve done so much better and not have just been ‘the doctor but girl’ and instead would have been her own doctor#‘but girl this time’ is not enough to make a good charcater#the fugitive doctor was just so. good man like I loved her. there was spice#idk maybe it’s just my love of a bit more serious doctor. like Matt smith is probably my least favourite other than Jodie#I need to doctor to be witty and quick and loving but also to wear the clear scars of their life
