Pasta renaissance . Few days ago I been at my favorite restaurant to assist the presentation of the Leonardo 500th film. The Science during italian renaissance period was something that is not possible to replicate. Italian way to approach to science and arts... and culture is something that it could be called only amazing... even for me some things described by this film during this meeting was extraordinary and proud grown inside me, the pride to be an Italian who lives abroad in the far East... thanks to Francesco Canganella and @iicseoul who remembers me who we are..! Science Japan Meeting 2018を開催します！

今年の9月20日（木）にScienceのトップであるRush D. Holt博士を招いて会議を開催する。テーマは、日本の科学の未来を創る。Science Japan Meeting 2018、Japan & Science AAAS: For the Future of Science and Innovation in Japan　と題し、国内産官学からの発表とともに、日本の科学の未来を創るための方策を考える。

Rush D. Holt博士は、米国科学振興協会(AAAS) 第18代CEOおよびScience、姉妹紙の発行責任者である。教員、科学者、管理者、政策立案者の役職を歴任し、エネルギー省傘下プリンストンプラズマ物理学研究所副所長、下院議員を経て現職。トランプ政策の科学予算削減に対して苦言を呈するなど、米国、世界の科学振興に強いメッセージを発信している。

 国内からは、永野博先生（国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）、研究開発戦略セン   ター特任フェロー、研究主幹、AAASフェロー）、 古賀淳一氏（第一三共株式会社専務執行役員・研究開発本部長）、田中愛治先生（早稲田大学政治経済学術院 教授（政治経済学部 政治学科、大学院 政治学研究科、早稲田大学グローバルエデュケーションセンター所長 次期総長）が確定し、他の講師も調整中である。

 会場がユニークである。 Tokyo American Club　 https://www.tokyoamericanclub.org/index.php/en/ 普段なかなか行けない場所だ。今回は、Science、姉妹紙に載っていただいた研究者、大学関係者、企業の皆様など、招待客のみを予定している。
