❛ lyds ... ❜ jamie starts as her features morph into a caring expression , hands finding her best friend’s shoulders as she vents . she’s lucky to know about the strawberry blonde’s psychic && banshee abilities , or she would have a lot of questions . but , right now ? she knows exactly what lydia is going on about . it almost seems like she’s half in , half out of one of her fugue states and that’s worrying to jamie . she makes a mental note to lock all the windows and doors to prevent her from wandering off and getting lost , when she has a moment . gently , she uses her grip on the other’s shoulders to steer her in the direction of the couch and sit them both down on it . once there , the brunette grabs the blanket that is draped over the back of the couch and wraps it around lydia’s shoulders before grabbing both of her hands in her own . it’s an attempt to ground her , to keep her in her body and out of a psychic fog , ❛ this is hawkins . nothing makes any fuckin’ sense . just ... you’re okay , okay ? just focus on my voice . ❜

It was almost hysterical how fast plans could change, cause one moment you are making plans to watch the fireworks with your best friend then the next moment she’s dropping the news that she’s going out of town for the holiday. It sucked because there was no one else he wanted hang with but he didn’t want to hold her back, plus it wasn’t as if he wouldn’t survive without her. Even if he did joke that he was going to die of boredom without her.
Although it really didn’t take all that long before he started missing her like crazy, to the point where it felt like it’s been an eternity since she’s been gone. So the teen took a few days off of work and decided to dip into his savings just to go surprise her, after all she had given him the general location of where she’d be. Yet in a cruel twist of fate, that turned out to be the worst mistake he could have made. Cause instead of being with the girl he loved to death, the Californian spent the past few days living a nightmare. Doing things that scared him worst than anything his father could do and no matter how much he wanted to, he couldn’t stop.
It went on for days and by the time the fourth finally rolled around, things had gotten to the point of no return. But just when all hope seemed lost, a miracle happened. Jane, the girl Max hanged around with, managed to get through to him. All by talking about what she witness when she was in his mind, causing him to shed a tear and regret everything. In the end, Billy knew what he had to do. And he knew it was going to devastate the one person, he swore he’d never hurt. A soft ‘I’m sorry Moonlight.’ escaping his lips before he sacrificed himself to the monster, it was almost ironic that joke had became reality in the end.
❝I’m sorry.❞ And while those were his last words before falling unconscious, all that was going through his mind was Lydia.

Robin still didn't understand how she was friends with someone like Lydia. It still left her speechless. She'd always saw her as someone out of her league. But she'd seen Steve the same way. And she'd never thought she'd even be tolerating the kids - especially Erica. More than anything Robin never expected she'd have friends, let alone ones this awesome. She raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "I think you went a little too far with the style part. But you fluffed my ego with the rest." Robin definitely didn't consider stylish in any way. Especially not in this suit she'd found at the thrift store. It was a little baggy and big on her but that just added to the comfort. She'd even stolen a tie from her dads room to match it. Why the hell not? It wasn't like he was ever going to wear it. He dressed like a bagman in the same nasty sweat pants and stained tshirts - sometimes wearing the same one for over a week despite the fact that she lugged their clothes to the laundromat a few times a month. "I'll try." She knew she was smart but the giving herself credit was hard. Especially when she lived with someone that was determined to bring her down everyday. "But if you'd like I could curse out a few bitches that think they are better than everyone else." And they both knew that she would. "You pick the language and I'll do it in a way that they won't even know they are being insulted. They are so dumb they might even think I’m complimenting them."

Joyce didn’t often go to Starcourt. She was usually at work and in fact had just come from work. She wasn’t really going to buy anything just sort of looking around. Joyce had just looked from the window display of one shop and almost walked into her. “Oh sorry Lydia.” She said. “I’m usually better at not walking into people.”

Montana had lost track of how long she'd been dead. She embraced being a ghost though. She could literally be a god in this place. After her death she had been introduced to the other ghosts but went and did her own thing.
She had taken to watching when thrill seekers and such would explore the camp and she'd end up killing them. As she sat on the wooden fence by the front of the camp she watched as a woman walked up the road to the camp. "Hey haven't you heard, camp's closed." She spoke, looking at the woman. "I'm Montana, Montana Duke, the best aerobics instructor around if thats why you're here." She joked, flipping her hair behind her shoulder.
Montana had every intention to kill this woman, add another ghost to the camp but as she got closer she got a strange feeling that this woman was different. If she had been alive maybe she would've been friends with her.

it’s cause to shudder. 𝑪𝑯𝑰𝑳𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮 . even the slightest of movement causing eyes to dart. a sense that something’s watching . waiting in the shadows to consume . tiny hairs along nape stand straight , along arms rubbed as if that’s enough to comfort . ❛ you think? ❜ composure , she’s always strove to keep , but her voice’s of cracks && wavers. the other’s hand’s clung to tightly as with a crunch beneath her feet , she inches forward. ❛ we’re definitely 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆 . ❜ there’s a low growl just beyond the clearing ahead. a struggle to keep the panic from settling in. ❛ see . . . i always knew there was something completely 𝑺𝑪𝑹𝑬𝑾𝑬𝑫 with this town , but does anyone ever actually listen to me? ❜

“You know Archaic Latin?” There was surprise in her tone, yes, but also excitement. No one else spoke Archaic Latin, or at least no one else that Bicé had ever met, but it was the basis for so many modern languages, and that meant that she could not neglect it. But to come across someone else who knew it, here in this small town that was supposed to be only a brief stop -- she could not believe her luck. She scrambled to allow the other a better view of the text (a very complicated array of morphologies in several different languages), eyes still a bit wide in her eagerness. “Do you know anything about Proto-Indo-European?”

❛ 𝖜𝖊 𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖆𝖒𝖊 𝖜 𝖆 𝖛 𝖊 𝖑 𝖊 𝖓 𝖌 𝖙 𝖍, ❜ compliments an intrigued lydia, being of cultured taste. one might call her a wine snob, knowing plenty about those spirits from the indulgent parties ( and her mom’s weekly book club meetings ) at her inherited lake house. ❛ not many people our age seem to appreciate the beauty of a good vintage wine ... i guess true ELEGANCE really is a rarity. color me impressed, ❜ plush lips curve into an appreciative smirk, eyes glimmering with her full attention on daphne. ❛ that’s such a pretty shade, kind of like an ORCHID ... romantic & feminine, yet sophisticated. it’s actually one of my favorites, ❜ she adds. ❛ i’m thinking of having my room painted that color. ❜

❛ i guess they're not too concerned about taste ——— which is a SHAME, really. ❜ manicured fingertips tuck loose vermilion strands behind ear. fortune-favored, she counts herself lucky to be versed in vintage drinks, courtesy of expansive wine cellar and elder sisters who were too willing to share. she shrugs. ❛ on the bright side, it means there's more cabernet for the rest of us. ❜ reciprocal smile graces visage, and she wears excitement well as features LIVEN at the prospect of walls coated in the mauvish hue. ❛ you should! can you image how optimistic that would make your space? you'd be unstoppable —— and the confidence it could give. ❜ sentences are quick, and she reminds herself to take a breath. ❛i'm in full support of that decision. ❜

Tate welcomed himself into Lydia’s yard, looking all around the house until he spotted the one room that still had a light on it in; That had to be hers. He cursed to himself because of course it’s on the second floor.... but he was still determined. He stashed his skateboard in a nearby bush on the boarder of Sayers household before stepping over the wall of lattice that climbed up to the awning above the porch. He grabbed it and gave it a shake and deemed it sturdy enough; He hiked his baggy jeans up his hips before placing the toe of well-worn Converse into one of the spaces and began to climb. There were a few times where it wobbled and he stopped completely, afraid that it might fall back, but it didn’t and he made it to the awning safe and sound. On his hands and knees, Tate carefully climbed across the body of it until he came to the window that had a light illuminating from within the curtains; Knock, knock. The blond rapped his knuckles against the glass.

▌█ ∵ ╳ ∵ █ ▌ ❝He’s been watching you for the last few days. He passed you once and every day has been her ten minutes before you usually come in. ❞ She doesn’t usually do this. In fact, she rarely ever lets herself do things like this. Talk to strangers, get involved in their issues or potential issues but it hits home too much. She feels like she is back in the place she was just a few years ago watching this boy who has his eyes glued on the other girl. Being pretty was hard, Taylor had the luxury of her tendencies and scars to keep people away this girl just seemed too pretty to keep anyone away, facade, resting bitch face, none of it would work. Someone would have to be stupid not to see the beauty she had. ❝ He followed you yesterday too. I can walk with you today if you want, that usually makes them leave. ❞

『 wisteria Lachlan : @screamsfate 』
liked this post for a starter
"Please keep your arms and legs in the boat. You don't want to be a gator's dinner do you?" Children and swamp tours. Wisteria didn't understand why parents insisted on bringing them. She did pride herself with having a good amount of patience and never having one go overboard as of yet. This one made her wonder if that day was about to come. As the mother worked to keep the kid in the boat Wisteria steadily rowed and winked at the only other passenger - a girl about her age. It was a small boat so she never took more than three at people at a time. It's not like her services were in high demand these days with the bigger companies doing the same thing with better boats and more frills than she could offer. The girl didn't seem any more impressed with the mother and child so she assumed that she wasn't any relation to them - or maybe they were. Family was either embarrassing or dead, right? "We're about to reach the best part. Look up..." It was nightfall and this was her last out of the three tours she’d done that day - she was tired but trying to sound upbeat. Above them was a veil formed by willow trees with lightening bugs flying all around it and making it appear to glow against the moonlit sky. It was enchanting and she'd loved it since she was just a little girl. The beauty of the Bayou never ceased to amaze her. Apparently it had the same effect on the child because he was now completely quiet. She guided the boat slowly through the trees with expert care - the place that she would turn around to head back wasn't far ahead.
