Ogata can hear couple of phones snapping but as no one’s getting in his way he acts like he can’t. Instead he buys his grilled sweet potato earning more stares from the shop seller and bypassers. Not just for hunger but also to keep his hand from the cold.

It’s the cat that gets curious over the surroundings - hopping from Ogata’s shoulder down to the ground running over to one of the many faces around. Ogata sighs and follows after, what a pain.

“ C’mon now... “ 

He doesn’t give a look to the girl the cat’s approaching, just takes his time to try to lure the cat back.

Hearts Wake, they call it. Pink,red and several other coloured hearts everywhere, the sappy holiday among many others. For Ogata they aren’t there, it’s a day like no other, he just has to ignore excited street vendors and event recruiters. 

It should be easy enough but life has its’ own workings - unfortunate incidents happen. Sometimes someone comes from around the corner, bumps into you spreading potions and their fumes all over. Scent trails right into his nostrils, digging deep in... There’s a short moment of spacing out, dizzy as his mood takes a light pleasant turn. 

There’s an apology, Ogata even helps the guy up and although that’s far as it goes it’s all a bit different from the usual. What’s even more unusual is that the he doesn’t choose to ignore the next person his eyes meet. The almost-cat-thief from quite long while ago.
