I’ve watched the twenty-third episode of “Banana Fish”. (Spoilers! Yes, right away, because I just can’t hold it.) Eiji is alive. Not very well, but alive – he’s at the hospital, but Ash can’t visit him, because if their connection is revealed Eiji, the police may take a notice of him and even suppose he’s a criminal (However it’s weird, that haven’t done it already since he was brought to the hospital with a gun injury, which means that somebody has shot him. Oh, no, I forgot that it’s America, which means that nobody cares about guns, my bad.) Now, they are planning to rescue their comrades (from all gangs) and Max from the National Centre of Mental Health (the one where Ash was held and where they experiment with Banana Fish). Sing has a hard time making decisions as boss. He offers Ash to fight him, after the rescue mission, because two of his people betrayed them and shot Eiji. Ash agrees (even though, he knows that he’ll probably kill Sing), but Sing’s brother isn’t that happy with this decision and leaves. Then we see Ash having a little breakdown. He’s praying! Ash is praying! He asks God not to take Eiji from him. Moving to Blanca and Yut-Lung. They discuss each other’s traumas. Yut-Lung tells about his mother (how his brothers raped and killed her in front of his eyes) and Blanca tells about his wife (who was, most probably, killed by the government, because she was a daughter of “Enemy of the People”) and then Blanca leaves to help Ash, saying that Yut-Lung has to learn how to love. Interesting dynamics. Before going to the Centre of Mental Health, Blanca takes Ash to see Eiji to the hospital. Ash watches him sleep, cries and says his farewells in Japanese. Then Eiji wakes up, goes after him and they both cry in the corridor when Eiji tells Ash to go before the police come. (If during Ash’s prays and Yut-Lung’s conversation with Blanca I was only crying, here I almost had a breakdown myself.) The rescue mission seems to be pretty successful. Ash caught Golzine, took him to the centre and demanded to release all the hostages. And then Foxx (the leader of the “dead” hirelings) killed Papa. WOW. That was sure an unexpected ending. The next episode is the last one. I’m going to die.

I’ve watched the nineteenth episode of “Banana Fish”.  (Spoilers!) We see Ash at Golzine’s, he’s working for him and not with his body, but with his mind – he helps him to push his political plans… What the hell is happening? What politics are you all talking about? I understand that they are just showing what Ash has to live through while working with Golzine, but all that stuff sounds like complete nonsense. Also, ew. I have probably already mentioned it before, but Golzine is disgusting. Eiji wants to save Ash, with Sin’s help he arranges a meeting with Yut-Lung to find out that Ash is in Golzine’s hands, that he did it only to save him and that Yut-Lung hates him. Eiji, being protective over Ash, is so sweet too – now he wants to prepare a good rescue plan. Ash’s gang comes together with Sin’s, Cain also joins. Golzine won a tax case and throughs a huge party. He’s going to bring Ash too and he had also prepared a surprise. Our united team is going to get into that party and get out of it with Ash. Ash sure isn’t okay – he had an anorexia attack and now Golzine says him that he’s going to officially adopt him – that’s the surprise for the party. Ash can’t take it and now is going crazy. Yut-Lung wants to hire Blanca to kill Eiji, Blanca declines, then the almost head of the Lee family finds out all the background information on him. Okay, so Blanca is a Kazakh, moreover from KGB. Funny. Blanca saves Yut-Lung from a murderous assault and agrees to work for him, but only as a bodyguard. Something big is sure going to happen in the next episode.
