Thoughts on Chapter 125
I swear these chapters will be the end of me-
Before I forget, Jeje’s face! After so long, we finally get to see it aaaaa :D
From the start, that played out a lot differently than what was expected. So Jeje was the one who killed Kiriko, to stop her from killing herself and so she could ascend to heaven.
I do find it interesting how Mikuni didn’t really react much despite literally watching his mother get killed, and that his first suggestion was to use Jeje’s power to convince Misono that he was the one who did it. Honestly, there could have been another excuse he could come up with and I don’t really see how that was better than telling Misono the truth as both were kinda hard to hear. Perhaps Mikuni’s always been more unhinged than we thought.
Ooh so the spring/key is their contract item. In some sense, the fact it was from a music box is really fitting for them, considering how they have a theme of puppets, dolls and in a way, clockwork. I guess that since Jeje saw Kiriko pick the box, it’s still a little reminiscent of her as well.
All three of them were in the Alicein’s basement the whole time?? Jeje we knew about, albeit differently, but Kuro and Tsubaki too? Finding out that Jeje was voluntarily sealed was interesting too, unless that fits into his desire to die as stated before due to everything that happened with his previous Eves and it was the closest to what he wanted.
Personally, I don’t know how to feel about the double barrier thing. On one hand, having that with both the Alicein and Tsukimitsu families makes sense as it’s extra security and when the heads of the families change, the barrier is broken down and reconstructed so it prevents the whole thing breaking apart if something happens to one of them. On the other hand, the changing barriers thing just doesn’t feel like a good idea to me. Then we found out Kiriko broke the barrier when the Tsukimitsu’s side was down, and accidentally freed Tsubaki when she let Jeje out.
Linked with the previous point, I’m now thinking that it probably really was Lily that put Kuro in Mahiru’s path.
To be fair, you can kinda feel sorry for Kiriko and understand her actions. Her husband cheated on her, and in wanting to make a contract with Envy, she unintentionally let Tsubaki out and then since she killed Misono’s mother, she was trying to atone but is still hearing about the things Tsubaki did. As this was only possible because of her, it really weighed heavily on her. At first, I questioned Jeje’s choice to kill Kiriko as if he really wanted to prevent it, there was other methods but then again, it could also be that it was his way of showing her mercy, knowing that she was going through that.
Jeje in a jar asdfghjkdjs-
I’m sorry, but there’s something weirdly ironic about Shirayuki giving Iori the role of head of family when he was eighteen to prevent him from doing something reckless, and then we know he’s gone and done something reckless anyway.
Mikuni having done his own research was something I had always expected from him. What I didn’t expect was him going to a fast food restaurant so soon after but him not liking it was predictable.
Jeje taking the bag, plopping it over his head and Mikuni’s reaction 😂 Mikuni laughing was cute, I think that’s the first time we’ve seen him genuinely smiling like that? It was adorable how Jeje stacked more bags on to make him laugh more too. And thus, the origins of the paper bags xD
Tsurugi and Touma! :D So this is when Touma took Mikuni into C3 :o I genuinely thought that he would be a bit more wary as seen in Touma’s subconscious before, but Mikuni agreed quite quickly, supposedly because it might have been in his best interest.
I guess everything further established that Jeje still binds himself to Kiriko by choice, through both her son and the music box key.
I do hope that we can see what happens next and that Misono manages to interact with Mikuni since he now knows most of the truth. As always, looking forward to the next chapters :)

Thoughts on Chapter 124
How Sigurd was being so pessimistic and everyone being sad about Nicco possibly dying, and then Miyako just casually strolling in scolding them 😂
I really love Miyako in this chapter, just the way they shove Sigurd aside and takes charge of healing xD It does make you wonder why they didn’t help Iori, but I do believe that the two of them have a plan of some sort and Miyako is acting accordingly. On another random note, I thought they came by car with Yumi so I got confused when I saw the helmet-
The part with Licht and Hyde was quite sweet (idiot Hyde and idiot angel)
Just the confirmation that Jeje probably shortened his attack to avoid hurting Misono gets me every time 🥲
Seeing Toto from the Mori family and the rest of Nicco’s family in the video call panel was amazing, and I love that him and Nicco remained friends after the Russian Roulette scene.
Poor Good B and Bad B though; they showed up in one chapter and the next time we see them, they’ve already been captured 😅
The flashback of Tooru, Iori and Touma 🥲
It’s so nice to see Ildio finally accept Nicco and that he actually remembered his words about sharing food and drink with others. It was a nice end to the first half of the chapter with them all celebrating together. The second half of the chapter though, the contrast.
Finding out about the barrier within the Alicein Household was interesting, but I don’t quite get why Mikuni wants to deactivate it? Other than it aligns with what he’s doing at the moment even though it’s still not revealed.
There were two things that came to mind when I first saw the spiral staircase; 1) Why do they have such a long staircase in the manor and 2) Why does it remind me so much of the stairs leading down to the underground room in that Kingdom Hearts 2 cutscene xD
I guess the thought of Mikuni and Iori working together is a bit out-the-window, but I still like the idea and perhaps it’s still a bit early to conclude that.
The physical keyboard slam I experienced seeing the mirror and the way Mikuni’s reflection looked. I’m aware it probably takes the form of whoever’s in front of it with the key, but the thought of there being a Mirror Mikuni and how going in through the mirrored doors is like going through the looking glass, like the book.
The bottled aura and the broken bottles around it…it looks like either there was multiple parts that got out, or it was the result of multiple attempts to keep whatever that was (part of the count?) in.
Wait, so you’re telling me that Mikuni didn’t actually kill his mother, and that he wasn’t actually there that night? :o The possibility was there, but I didn’t think it was that •_•
Did Misono think it was Mikuni and Jeje because the wisp resembles them slightly, or was it another memory that Lily had interfered with? If that’s the case, oh boy.
Jeje’s words at the end of the chapter about how he doesn’t believe that he’s of any use to Mikuni anymore and how he’s worried if Kiriko made it to Heaven ;-;
Please tell me the person going up the stairs isn’t who I think it is, if so my brain’s going to implode-
I’m guessing that probably means Mikuni took the responsibility of everything to hide the truth from everyone, and if that wisp/aura is part of the Count, uh…I’m going to say yikes at the implications and might make Mikuni’s motivations a bit clearer if that’s the case.
I swear if this ends with Jeje working with Misono and Lily with Mikuni-
As always, I’m looking forward to next chapter but also a bit scared of what’s going to happen.

Thoughts about Jeje - Physical Composition and Ability
Just some more random rambles I had after reading this month’s chapter 😅
Mainly thinking about the fact that he was hollow when Ildio bisected him.
I did initially think that it could have been a fake Jeje there in a similar way to Mikuni’s ability (like a doll or illusion) or something to make it seem like they have the victory. Literal hollowness inside gives the implication of “puppet” and it does follow the Envy pair’s theme of creator and creation quite well. Also, when he was cut in half, he didn’t lose any jinn, which you would expect to happen since if following Tsubaki’s countdown, he’s the next one to. This is what I’m mainly leaning towards.
The other thing that came to mind was that it could possibly be the real Jeje and the hollowness is how Servamps are. In a similar way to how the video game Kingdom Hearts handled vessels, maybe something like a humanoid mannequin was used to hold the demon and the soul of the person they used to be. Due to that soul, it gives them their previous form back and they become almost “human” again. It may also be mixed with something that allows them to heal quickly too, like how Lily could attach his leg back on and Freya after getting shot (though it takes time). I wouldn’t be surprised if this only applies to Jeje though and he had always been a “walking mannequin” as he was the first Servamp where the process began to stabilise. May also contribute to how he’s full covered as well.
I like how he looked really snake-like as well when he used his ability. Maybe that could be a reason as to why he always covers his face, because Envy is sometimes considered to be a monster and that’s what he becomes when angered/using his full ability?
Another random thought I had was his ability compared to Mikuni’s. I love that the two’s tie together whilst the other Servamp/Eve pairs’s are quite different. Again, unlike Mikuni’s, Jeje’s seems indiscriminate. However, this may be linked with Kiriko as well. Based on how Jeje viewed her as “too pure to be vicious”, it links a little with how the woman in Mikuni’s “My Fair Lady” resembles her and she only acts as the scale/balance for which judgement is cast. She doesn’t directly harm another person, but can be dangerous when used in such a way, especially with another’s influence. Similar to how my mum thought that part of Kiriko was “absorbed/consumed” by Jeje and this is the part of him where she remained, if that makes sense. Mikuni is Kiriko’s son, but because he’s the opposite to her in being vicious, he’s the one leading to harm happening whether intentional or not.
Despite this, “My Fair Lady” only works on those who have killed, something that only affects those who deserve it. This leads me to think, in Mikuni’s case, he sees those to have committed a crime to be worthy of punishment whilst if you try to punish an innocent person, it doesn’t work because they did nothing wrong, the way it should be.
However in Jeje’s case, it doesn’t matter if you did something wrong or not, you get punished either way. This leads to idea of false accusations. Me and my sister originally thought that Jeje’s Subclass were falsely accused of crimes and Jeje bought these people back, but what if on the flip side, Jeje himself fell victim to this which caused him to lose his life as a human? Like he will accept the fall for someone under the condition he got revived after (his quote about him asking to be bought back to life). Because of this, he doesn’t see the distinction, especially in the case where others don’t care about the truth and just want someone to take the fall for it. A little bit of bitterness, in a way.
On the other hand, even if they were guilty, Jeje believes that everyone involved needs to be judged and not just the person who did something wrong. As such, both his and Mikuni’s view on fairness is both the same and different at the same time.

Thoughts on Chapter 123
I thought last chapter was intense but this chapter ;-;
Nicco and everyone looks awesome on the front cover :D
I find it both interesting yet believable that Mikado had always been afraid of Lily. The latter does have a friendly demeanour and seems to genuinely care about his Subclass, the Aliceins and Misono but can also be scheming and sinister in his own way which is a little scary when you think about it because it’s not something you would expect from someone like him. I love how he changed to his Inner Demon’s appearance before back to his own though when Mikuni started talking xD
I’m assuming there’s some significance to Mikado’s pendant for Mikuni to take it, though we’re still no closer to finding out what Mikuni is after. It can be inferred, but it’s just figuring out what’s going through his head 😅
Jeje thinking about Mikuni and Kiriko ;-; I’ve seen how he apparently refers to Mikuni as “the beautiful son of a beautiful woman” and it’s so nice but sweet in a melancholic way. I think it implies that Jeje may have been fond of her and sticks with Mikuni not only out of guilt but because of their similarities and for Kiriko’s sake as well. Imagine how it must have been like for Jeje seeing someone he saw as “too pure to be vicious” descend into madness because of what Mikado did and how it broke her. It’s…kinda sad.
In the same sense, Mikuni is the opposite of his mother but I think that despite what he’s currently doing, in Jeje’s eyes, he does believe it is the right thing to do and he probably knows what Mikuni’s intentions are (perhaps showing kindness in the form of making himself the villain).
I also love how regardless of anything, Jeje still refuses to attack Misono (again, probably because of Mikuni and his own guilt), shooting around him to force him out of range.
I’m guessing that it was maybe Mikuni’s blood that he had? My sister had a theory that maybe Jeje and Mikuni weren’t fully contracted but instead had constant temporary contracts until this point, though I think this shows that maybe they do have a full contract after all.
Envy pair and their puppet/creator theme for their abilities :o I really love it 😅😂 Also Jeje’s being a more dangerous version of Mikuni’s “My Fair Lady” in the sense that it seems indiscriminate :o The people in the snake hood though xD
Sorry, the way Cappuccino and the other mafia member reached out at Nicco :’)
Sigurd! :D Knew he wasn’t dead, but it was still great seeing him.
Of course Nicco shot his hand to pull it off 😅 He had it so rough with Envy pair and the past few chapters though; first threatened and had “My Fair Lady” cast on him by Mikuni, had his Family held hostage, the whole thing with Ildio, shot by Jeje and now caught in Jeje’s ability qwq The guy needs a break :’)
Huh?? He’s hollow?? I saw the spoilers but to think that it was literal •_•
Knowing Tanaka-sensei, it ends on a “happy” note but I’m ready for next chapter to absolutely destroy us (if it doesn’t transition back to Mahiru, Kuro, Gear and Youtarou, but even if it does it probably would still be something)
Even so, really looking forward to next chapter to finding out more, the story really is something xD
More thoughts about Jeje coming soon 😅😂

Hi hi!
This is Ani stealing Mu’s account just to post some random thoughts xD
So, what are the chances that as opposed to Jeje’s Eve losing their sanity over time, it’s the opposite with Mikuni? :3
We know that all his Eves had previously lost their sanity (presumably to envy) but Mikuni has yet to portray such characteristics. (tho he may be a little insane ajsvdjsskek)
Oh and also, this one may be a stretch but what if Mikuni andJeje are in a similar situation as to how part of Kuro is trapped in the rose. Rather than an item, part of Jeje’s demon becomes trapped in his Eve which causes them to lose sanity? Almost like a parasite. As most people have envy for others, the stronger the envy, the faster the demon devours the Eve. However, in Mikuni’s case, it is implied that most of his actions are completed with Misono in mind which contrasts against the demon. Hence Jeje may be losing his sanity more than mikuni :’) (though they are both still depleting in sanity ahdhdsks)
Anyways, enough spewing from me xD
Mu and I will have a mini announcement on the first week of Nov so stay tuned! >:3
Now, ima dip before Mu finds this xD

Hi again from the jeje death post! Tysm for the discussion, i loved reading your post as a fellow Jeje lover *blush*. If you're willing, I have more I want to share^^
I love the connection of Abel to Mikuni and Mikuni's mother, especially with how it possibly ties into keeping his sanity. It's interesting to think that Abel could harbor Mikuni and Jeje's contract item, but I don't think Mikuni would so treat Abel so dearly if that were the case.
Another little tidbit I wanted to ask about, I remember in one land of nod event we were talking to Mikuni and I can't remember well but the dialogue went something like, Mikuni: [...one of my friends?] And amongst the options was Youtarou. I was thinking Mikuni and Youtarou were possibly "friends" or acquaintances but I can't find the dialogue -_-
(And if you're willing to theorize even more) when Jeje mentioned that he asked to be brought back to life, I immediately thought that there was someone that Jeje wanted to save. I imagine his situation to be smth like being sacrificed against his will, or a situation of being unjustly killed. We all know that when servamps are created, the lives/souls around them are sacrificed, so there was no longer anyone to save as they died, and because of that he wants to die. I actually still stand by this theory but then Ildio's story came up but I don't see the tremendous amount of deaths around him? I dont think the count would go through all the trouble to move his body. So now I think something entirely different and think that instead of the lives around them, the offerings have to be lives are were dear to the servamp: Kuro and his village, Lawless and his family, Ildio and the little girl, etc. Maybe that's why there's been so many failed ones, bc even the Count misunderstood what sacrifices were needed. If this were the case, I think Touma's initial plan to use Tsurugi as a vessel could possibly fail as aside from Yumi and Juunichirou, there is also Touma which he probably cares/needs the most, so the plan is flawed.
This can possibly lead to Jeje and Lily's friendship (another theory), as they both had/have people (most likely children) that they want(ed) to save. I believe this could also be why they conspired with CCC to then make Kuro kill the Count, then right before he wakes up from the sleep he is placed (by what i suspect to be Lily's hands) in the path of Mahiru who is special (smth his uncle alluded to him being other than magician).
What do you think?
I'm so sorry for the ramble, tyvm. . *bows*
Hello again! No problem, I’m glad it was ok :) Of course! I’m always happy to hear and discuss theories 😁
I think I vaguely remember seeing that bit in one of the Land of Nod events too but I can’t find it either ;-; Me and my sister have a headcanon of Mikuni trying to find and meet different supernatural creatures on his travels so him being acquaintances with Youtarou and Gear could work :) Especially knowing how Abel was made.
With your theory, that’s an interesting way to think about it. We still don’t know that much about Jeje, but I’ve always thought of him as someone who cared a lot about those close to and around him despite hiding his true thoughts and feelings, even when he has to do things he doesn’t actually believe in. I agree with there maybe being people/someone he wanted to save or go back to which was why he could have asked to be brought back to life again but since they’re not there anymore, he’s sort of just going along. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect him to ask for a way to die but I took that as since his previous Eves ended up falling mad because of him, he felt a sense of guilt and responsibility for it and didn’t want to inflict that on anyone else, but we all know how that went.
I like the idea of the Count misunderstanding what sacrifices needed to be made, and others looking to replicate his work not understanding either. That’s maybe why he created more Servamps, to try and figure it out as he goes but maybe he does different complicated things so then he doesn’t know what he did. For Kuro and the village and Lawless and his family, it makes sense for the people they held close to be used but for Ildio, I’m not too sure. From what I understood from his story, he didn’t really hold anyone dear other than being used to the lifestyle he had, and when he was made into a Servamp, the person in charge of the fights and where the coliseum was were still standing as well, unlike with Kuro. He did care about the little girl, but I thought her death was to do with being sent out to fight. If that’s the case, who was used for Ildio? Unless it depends on the demon within the Servamp since all of them are different, albeit a bit violent with the exception of Lily’s 🤔 On the other hand, with Tsurugi, as well as having people close to him, he may also possibly fail becoming a Servamp since he’s implied to be Gear (a werewolf)’s descendant even though he’s more human. It’s currently unknown if the method St Germain used works on subjects other than dead humans, such as if they were alive or turning beings of one species into another. I can only imagine it becoming even more complex 😅
Moving back onto Jeje’s friendship with Lily, I thought the same as well. I can see Jeje taking care of children in his previous life too and we originally thought that maybe he saw a bit of himself in Lily as well. Perhaps they got closer due to also having similar ideals. As for them conspiring with CCC, I’m not fully sure of what their motives could have been other than Lily seeming to have close connections with them anyway due to his Eve and Jeje helping him out. If they truly wanted to prevent the Count from doing what he’s doing and deeming him too dangerous, this would work but from the latest chapter, they seem to be wanting the Count to be resurrected. It could be to kill him properly, or maybe something else that we may need to find out more information for. I do feel sorry for Kuro though, it seems like he was just used and they (CCC, Jeje and Lily) took advantage of St Germaine’s obsession with him too. I originally thought it was Mikuni putting Kuro in Mahiru’s path but I think Lily would be more likely as well; he was very calm seeing Kuro again and it’s implied that he had always been keeping an eye on him. I am interested to know more about what he’s planning too, as he does also have a darker side to what he shows.
Overall, we’ll just have to wait and see what else we find out in later chapters, which I’m looking forward too. Thank you for reading my ramblings, and sorry if they went on a bit of a tangent 😅

I have a theory! Sry if this is long, and pls tell me if this has already been theorized before.
So we all know about the Envy pair's connection to Christianity, and I just wanted to speculate about Jeje's past. (Might be gruesome) so many ppl theorize that jeje used to be a clergy/priest (idk). I imagined his death to be a bit gruesome as the origins of a snake (according to the Bible I think) was that a lizard's limbs were cut off in punishment. I don't remember if this is the same snake as in Adam and eve, but I think so. What if Jeje's death had something to do with his limbs being removed? That would kind of explain why he likes being covered, and probably explain why he shot a gun out of his knee when he shot Nicco.
If in this regard, jeje represents the snake, would his eves be the Edens? Jeje mentions in one of the flashback chapters that he contracted many eves, but they all succumbed to jealousy. If all the eves are Edens, what is the apple? And is the "adam" out of the picture?
In addition, where do you think Abel came from? I thought that similar to Kuro, Jeje asked Gear to seal a part of himself within an object (the doll) and so Abel carries most of his malice in hanging people. I thought that, but then it was revealed that Youtarou also makes those dolls. Unless the dolls are like an old ritual, i no longer have an hc for explanations. What do think of this?
Don’t worry, thank you for sharing this with me ☺️ I have heard that a lot of people theorise that Jeje used to be a priest/part of the clergy (me and my sister included) but that’s the first time I’ve heard loss of limbs being a possibly attributed to his death. I think it makes sense. I’ll be honest, seeing that he can summon a gun out of his knee kinda reminded me of the people considered Weapons in Soul Eater 😂 All jokes aside, it’s possible that it was done against his will either as a punishment of some kind, similar to the story or as a sacrifice for something. Another theory both me and my sister thought was that he could have been a soldier at some point as well, having died fighting in a war but then that doesn’t really explain how he apparently asked to be brought back to life (if I read that right).
Now, if Jeje did represent the snake, I think it wouldn’t be far off to consider his Eves to be Edens. The story of Adam and Eve took part in the Garden of Eden, and with each Eve, there are endless possibilities of what could happen. They could have all been considered “ideal” or “good and virtuous” people but within all that, there’s always a little bit of darkness deep down, sometimes disguised, sometimes simply hidden away and surpressed. That would be the theoretical “apple”; jealousy, insecurity, being scared etc and being more aware/conscious of it.
With Jeje, I truly believe that he never intentionally lead them to that but it just became easier to access the longer they stayed with him and the fact that he was the first Servamp stable with his demon, but how stable was that really? As a result, it ends up building and building until it gets too much and consuming them. This could be seen in Mikuni’s mother, she tried her best to atone for making a contract with Jeje and killing Misono’s mother by taking Misono in and raising him, but that darkness remained a part of her and as Misono grew up and began looking like his mother, she ended up being reminded of Mikado’s infidelity and couldn’t handle it anymore. People are often afraid of others seeing that side of them, so keep it to themselves. However in Mikuni’s case, he’s not afraid, or at least shows he’s not. He’s fully aware of what he did, and has stated himself that he is not a good person. He’s fairly open about his jealousy as if he’s accepted that it was a part of him. That’s probably why Jeje is ok with sticking by him (other than as Servamp and Eve), because it is probably unlikely for him to be consumed by Envy. For this reason, I think I agree with there being no “Adam”, as in they don’t have someone to share that “apple” with. On the flip side, “Adam” could be those they have shared it with, but only temporarily so that status doesn’t fully stay, if that makes sense.
With regards to Abel, I really like your idea. Before the latest chapter showed that Abel was made by Youtarou using Gear’s fur, and I’m assuming Mikuni’s able to use magic because of that, me and my sister did have a few ideas about her. Even though they’re disproven, I’ll share them anyway:
Abel holds a part of Mikuni that is considered to be “rational”. By keeping her with him, he was able to maintain his sanity and think clearly about what he wants to do, being “himself”. Without her, he becomes rather child-like and unstable. We originally thought that Mikuni had went to Gear to “remove” the side of him that he wants to forget (killing his mother) and the doll was used as a medium. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, it ended up being split into two; “Abel” and “Cain”, Abel housing “positivity” and Cain, “negativity”. Because Cain was the one who held the memories Mikuni wanted to forget, he left her behind with Gear. I know Gear’s ritual thing was to seal power into an object, but we thought maybe it could work for memories too.
Abel could be considered having part of Mikuni’s mother’s consciousness within her. One thing we had always thought is that Abel either was, or contained Mikuni and Jeje’s contract item. Therefore, similar to my mum’s theory on how maybe Mikuni is influenced by his mother’s jealousy through Jeje since Servamps and Eves are connected, it may have some play in Mikuni’s actions.
She was a gift to Mikuni from his mother. I like to think that Mikuni grew up rather open-minded and enjoyed a lot of different activities, including playing with dolls and being taught how to sew by his mother. Because she was special to him, he took her with him when he left the Alicein Manor. This somehow later became incorporated with his Lead. Speaking of his Lead, with the information from the new chapter, I’m now thinking that Mikuni’s “My Fair Lady” is the spell/technique that he uses to make Abel heavier and summon the statue, his Lead is only acting as the pivot. This makes it slightly different from the “team attacks” the other Servamps and Eves have.
However, if Abel meant so much to Mikuni, I was wondering why he allowed her to be beheaded in his technique (other than it can be seen as “killing” his mother once again as Abel was hers) but then realised that one of the properties of Gear’s fur was to repair matter so I’m assuming he didn’t really mind (and we saw that black wispy smoke from her).
As for now, I’m not really sure. In one of the events in the Land of Nod, I think Youtarou mentioned that he often makes dolls, clothes and other accessories to sell online although not all of it was made using Gear’s fur. I am curious as to how Abel got confiscated and ended up with the Aliceins. Also in why Youtarou thought about making dolls with Gear’s fur. Perhaps it was for some old ritual as an medium like you said, or to hold parts of Gear’s power in his attempt to still maintain his form of self when full moon comes. In that case, does that mean anyone with a doll can use magic with it as a catalyst as long as you know the method?
Overall, thanks again for this and I’m sorry for the long rambling, Jeje’s one of my favourite characters and I’m looking forward to finding out more about him 😂
Hope you have a nice day, and thanks for reading ☺️

Thoughts on Chapter 122
First of all, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-
I’ll be honest, seeing Mikuni and Tsurugi headless completely caught me off-guard, like, holy heck 😰
The name of the technique, Coppelius Coppelia actually fits Mikuni really well, considering the story of the ballet which I would recommend having a look at. I had always thought that Mikuni knew how to use magic although this was in a different way to how I’d imagined.
So Abel was actually created by Youtarou and ended up in the Alicein Family’s possession 🤔 I guess that explains how Youtarou can use magic despite not being a magician then, due to Gear’s fur being used to make it and I’m assuming it’s part of its properties.
What I didn’t expect was that Abel was Mikuni’s mother’s. We now know the possible reason as to why Mikuni is so attached to Abel, as something of his mother’s that he kept with him but I’m surprised he let her be beheaded in his place. There’s still some questions that needs answering.
LILY-
I love how the panel changes to show what was assumed to be Mikuni’s mother with the real Mikuni, only to reveal it was Lily (He’s back :D)
I really like how Mikuni and Lily are revealed to have been working together but I’m also afraid of what’s going to happen if Misono finds out 😰 That’s the second time he’s betrayed Misono’s trust but I truly believe that he only wanted what was best for him, aligning with one of Mikuni’s interests as well.
It still doesn’t explain Mikuni’s actions though as he was quite vague about it.
The last line does raise some questions too, he wanted to be taken to the basement where the Earl’s “corpse” was kept. This implies to me that maybe Iori’s body was intended to be used for the ritual, which I’m interested to know what happens.
My sister had a theory saying what if a member of each of the three families that had St Germain’s blood needed to be used for the ritual as well? We know one of the families is Sigurd’s (who I don’t believe is dead) and we originally thought the other two would be the Tsukimitsu and Alicein families, but what if it was the Kamiya family instead of the Aliceins? Otherwise Mikuni wouldn’t have threatened Niccolo to kill both Sigurd and Tsurugi since they already had Iori’s (though Tsurugi may be a bit of a personal reason as well).
I think Tsurugi might be ok, and that being beheaded is one of Lily’s illusions but if not, Tsurugi no D:
Finally, Touma :D and the fact we get to see Iori’s apartment and his hamsters too xD (It’s funny to me that that’s where he was).
Overall, this chapter was a ride and I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens next :)

Thoughts on Chapter 116
I’ll start off by saying, holy heck Mikuni 😱 Could it be that he’s burning away the last memories of himself and that night, almost as if saying that there’s no turning back now? 🤔 His way of saying that this is no longer his home and he is no longer an Alicein. From the translation, I love the throwback to Mikado’s quote about it being an awful night for a burglar to get in. It does leave me questioning though, how did Mikuni know that quote when he wasn’t there at the time?
That face he pulls remind me of one that a character does when they are completely insane 😰 I do look forward to seeing how else the interaction goes :3
I wonder if Tsurugi is still at the Alicein Manor though since Misono’s at the hotel 🤔
It is interesting how no-one noticed the fire until the East Wing was completely engulfed in flames though.
It shows that Nicco shot Sigurd, but I can’t help but think if he really did it. Nicco does care for his family but I’m a bit sceptical that it was for real, especially since the previous chapter implied that he had a plan so I don’t think he would cave in that easily. Plus Hyde didn’t seem to have that much of a reaction to it.
Does that mean Ildio’s completely been taken over by his demon? The barrier on the car boot did break but as it was temporary, it might have meant that time ran out rather than something happening to Sigurd.
I was both not expecting and expecting Jeje to jump out of the window at the same time 😂
Poor Nicco getting caught by the neck and being thrown out of the window with Licht 😂 Also, of course Licht does that kind of thing whilst saying he’s an angel and Hyde jumping after them 😂
Jeje’s shocked face aaaaaa ;-;
It really looks like to me that at first he was surprised to see that it wasn’t actually Tsurugi, but I think part of it might be personal as well, considering what happened by at the Alicein Household with Mikuni and Misono’s mothers.
Didn’t expect to see Shuuhei already there, but Jeje looks ready to fight.

Thoughts whilst reading Chapter 113
Why am I not surprised that Ildio was covered in blood and dragged in a body when he first met Kuro? 😅
Hyde’s origin completely threw my own theory out the window but at the same time, it was kinda sad. If he was killed by his own family, then it makes sense that he would cling onto another form of it if he could and how he was grateful being brought back (as he probably didn’t deserve to die anyway). It’s nice to see that he took an optimistic approach instead of one of hatred. It’s also cute how Guil has stuck with him all this time too.
I’m just gonna say, Lily looks beautiful xD I knew that he was close to Jeje but I didn’t realise it was before he even met Kuro. I also like how we find out a possible reason for why he’s scared of Freya, as he mentions that he had never been much of a fighter and does seem like the type to prefer a more peaceful approach.
I feel that’s what causes the most problems, when the issue is ignored in favour of hoping it would go away rather than facing it.
Sorry, just the fact Gear got soaked when the tree knocked a hole in their roof made me laugh 😅
That woman from C3 really does look similar to Mikado. Could she have been an Alicein as well? But then that means that they’re more connected to magic users than I thought 🤔
That’s interesting that they didn’t say to kill St Germain, rather subdue him with the curse. However, I’m not sure what they hoped to achieve by this and how it worked. It also seems that both Lily and Jeje were more involved in this than we thought.
I’m also interested to know what they meant by saying all of St Germain’s actions were for Kuro’s sake, and why he sent each of the Servamps to him in the first place.
So Kuro never abandoned Gear, he just wasn’t able to return in the first place. But then it makes me curious, who picked him up the first time, and who placed him in Mahiru’s path? I think it’s two separate people but that means that everything was already pre-planned and not just a coincidence.
Why Mahiru? We already know that there’s something special about him, so I wonder if that was part of the reason? And it implies that Mahiru had been watched for some time beforehand if that was the case. It’s impossible to tell who it was from the hands that put Kuro down, but seeing Jeje’s snake form retreating makes me think Mikuni, though what does Mikuni have to do with this? Unless that was a red herring 😅
Overall, I liked the information we got in this chapter, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the next one goes :)

Chapter 111 thoughts
All I really have to say is poor Kuro ;-; Like Mahiru, all he wanted to do was help and he ended up paying the price for it. It’s interesting to see how the two of them were similar and how Kuro probably doesn’t want the same thing to happen to Mahiru.
Is that Sensei?? He doesn’t look very human to me with the tail and talons, but I suppose that makes it more interesting. At the same time, seeing his face, he doesn’t seem like the type of person to chase after immortality but we don’t know enough about him to make that judgement yet. If I had to speculate, it may be possible that he experimented on himself or is naturally like that. I see where everyone is coming from with saying he looks like a Shirota though, and I’m looking forward to seeing what else we find out and if he really does have a connection with Mahiru.
Now that we know how Kuro died as a human, and that Inner Sloth is in that place with so many candles and candelabrums, is it possible that a Servamp’s inner world may have some representation of how they died? For example how Hyde’s is a stage (maybe a stage accident?), Freya’s maybe in a war setting and Lily’s might have been due to an illness or drowning (as his Inner self had a bed and Easter eggs surrounded by what looks like a body of water).
Since the creation of a Servamp requires a large amount of souls, I think the stability of the Servamp depends on the how many that is used. It was mentioned that Kuro’s the most unstable, and the small village he was from was probably sacrificed to create him. Apparently the Creator also said that they planned to use a larger town next time, and since Gear mentioned the Servamps started stabilising from Jeje onwards, we can assume that he did this whilst expanding the scale until they reached an optimum one. We don’t know if there was an exception to this for Tsubaki though, and what makes him different from the rest other than him and his Subclass being able to wander in the sunlight.
