This identification is a derivative from a romantic, high-school sweetheart relationship developed in the early 1900's between #GeorgeLyle & #EthelHedgemon (#EthelHedgeman). George Lyle is a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. whom was initiated into the #BetaChapter in 1907 by which #JewelEugeneKinckleJones (One of the #SevenFounders of the Fraternity #1906) assisted in chartering. With George becoming a member of #AlphaPhiAlpha at #HowardUniversity, this is one of the solidifications to the idea Ethel Hedgemon had of founding #AlphaKappaAlpha at #Howard in #1908.
