In the wake of his death, his girlfriend Homura and his brother Ichimatsu find unexpected comfort and companionship in each other, leading them to become close – close enough to become more than friends.

But sometimes, love might not be enough to heal everything – especially two broken hearts still heavy with grief.

Rating: M Relationships: Ichi/Homura, past Jyushi/Homura Characters: Homura, Ichi; the other Matsunos also show up, as do other characters. Contents: Character death, grief/mourning, romance, second loves, suicide, (future) sexual content, relationship problems, angst, LOTS of angst, drama. More detailed tags are in AO3.

After months of working on it, I’m proud to present my entry for the S*xtbang 2018 event run by @sextbangmods! And it’s angsty IchiHomu because of course it is!!

I made a post about this fic idea a long long time ago, and I can’t believe I found an opportunity to turn it into a reality!! It’s exciting :D Not only that, but this fic will also be illustrated - with wonderful artwork by@luvthesestuff and @Ecchinyatsu! Working with them was so much fun ♥ Their illustrations will be inserted into the fic, so you get to see them as you read!

I have so many people to thank for helping me with this: the S*xtbang mods, Luv and Ecchi, my betas @irkimatsu and Edme, everyone in the S*xtbang server as well as a bunch of other Discord servers I’m active in - I would never have come this far without their help and advice ;v; Thank you so much!!

Want to join the Osomatsu-san Sextuplet Big Bang?

Well, look no further! 

Bean and Umi are pleased to announce that we have been working these last couple of months to organize the Osomatsu-san Sextuplet Big Bang, which we feel must aptly be called S*xtbang for short. We want to have any and all Osomatsu-san fans check out this event and consider signing up!

A few questions one may ask include:

What is a Big Bang?

A big bang is a fandom wide collaboration challenge that takes place over a course of several months. During that time, an author writes a fic that is a minimum 10,000 words long while an artist will produce a minimum of one art piece for their assigned author’s fic. Artists are given a chance to choose the fic they are most interested in during a claims process, where author’s identities remain completely anonymous.

What’s the point of this?

Big Bangs are meant to be a celebration in the community of coming together and producing more content. Setting aside our differences, we all are here because we love Osomatsu-san, are coming to terms that season 2 is almost over, and wish there was more. This event gives us a chance to build community and continue to show our appreciation for the show.

Who can join?

This event is open to all fans of the show, and we hope to have lots of people sign up! Though it may be intimidating because you aren’t confident in your own ability or you are worried about the commitment level a big bang could require, we still ask that you give it a chance!

Updates will be posted here on our tumblr page and over on our twitter page @sextbangmods. Please feel free to read the FAQ or ask us questions, and we’ll do our best to get back to you in a timely manner! Sign-ups open on April 6th. More updates on the schedule and what this all will entail coming even sooner!

the second of the two fics I illustrated for @sextbangmods is From the Ashes from Whence He Came! the specific scene I drew is from a later chapter, so I won’t be able to post it for a while - but since this AU is so fitting for Halloween, I might as well post a big ol’ dump of character design sketches

most people know the fantasy/RPG AU, but this fic takes it a step further with a rich backstory for how a dragon, three humans, a bakeneko and a fae became family, as well as why Osomatsu the dragon looks mostly human. the character interactions are spot-on and adorable and I really got my teeth into drawing these versions of the boys - enjoy chapter 1 and look forward to future chapters!

this month I’m gonna need to focus intensely on my work for @sextbangmods so it’s only fair to give you a little sneak peak of my work for at least one of the two fics I’m illustrating. here’s a Choro from the cover art/poster I’m doing for the lovely and talented @eri-descent‘s fic that I can’t flipping wait for you all to read in full this autumn!

S*xtbang: The Schedule

Hello everyone! As some people have been wondering, this week’s update is on the schedule for the Sextuplet Big Bang!

This is the schedule all participants are expected to follow. However, we understand that there may be schedule conflicts due to work, school, or general life obligations. If anything is to come up, contact the mods and we’ll be happy to work out a compromise!

Please note that all of these times are in Eastern Standard Time (GMT -4). Please calculate according to your own time zone, as times and dates may be different for you. Full schedule below the cut. If there are any remaining questions about the schedule, please leave us a message!

Friday, April 6th Sign-ups officially open! Participants may sign up for any of the following roles: author, artist, beta, and reserves. More information on what each role does can be found here.

Saturday, April 21st Sign-ups close.

Sunday, April 22nd Confirmation emails sent out to all participants. If you signed up for multiple roles, then you will receive multiple emails.

Thursday, May 24th Author check-in #1. Authors are expected to have a minimum 2,500 words completed for this check-in. Authors, to be on track for completion you should have approximately ¼ of your fic done. Authors, this is also when all detailed summaries for artists are due. To see an example of a detailed summary, click here.

Friday, May 25th Mods post all fic summaries for registered artists to preview. Artists, you will need to use the email you provided the mods to login and see all of the fic summaries. Artists will begin to determine their top six fics at this time. Monday, May 28th Artist Claims, Round 1 begin at midnight EST. Artists should send an email to sextbangmods@gmail.com and indicate their top six choices. Fic assignments will be done on a first come first serve basis. Artists should clarify if there are any fics that are tied in their minds at this time. Thursday, May 31st Artist Claims, Round 2 begin. Any fics that do not have an artist assigned to them will be given priority. Artists may choose to sign up for a second fic at this time.

Saturday, June 2nd All authors and artists are emailed each other’s information. Authors must provide artists with a draft of their work at this time. Artists may also want to send authors previous pieces they’ve done or links to their other works at this time.

Friday, June 29th Author check-in #2, and Artist check-in #1. Authors should have a minimum 5,000 words in their draft. To be on track, this must be approximately ½ of your fic. Artists are required to submit a sample of their work, such as a sketch, WIP picture, outline, etc. based on the type of art they are doing.

Saturday, July 28th Author check-in #3, and Artist check-in #2. Authors should have a minimum 7,500 words in their draft. To be on track, this must be approximately ¾ of your fic. Artists are required to submit a sample of their work, such as a sketch, WIP picture, outline, etc. based on the type of art they are doing. There should be a noticeable difference between this check-in and the last check-in. Examples include: flats added to digital illustration, all lineart complete, portions of materials put together, etc.

Friday, August 24th Final check-ins for authors and artists. Both authors and artists should have 100% finished or near-complete products to turn in to the mods. If product is still incomplete, please indicate it in the body of your email, along with a rough estimate of % completed. Also indicate if there are certain days in the month of September that will not work in your schedule to post. Mods will take into account completion % and teams’s schedules to determine a posting schedule.

Sunday, August 26th Mods will send out emails with everyone’s final posting dates. If there are any conflicts, please contact the mods immediately.

Saturday, September 1st Posting begins.
