Growing Up Hip-Hop star, Shaniah Mauldin: “Me drinking? Me smoking? That ain’t really me”

Shaniah wants you to know she ain’t here for the turn up just because she’s on TV.

During a cast member Q&A with Sway Calloway, following the screening of ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ (which premieres May 25th), Sway asked the cast members if they feel pressured to follow in the footsteps of their iconic hip-hop parents.

Shaniah Mauldin, who Sway acknowledged as a rarity in the Entertainment industry, stated, “You don’t see me drink, you don’t see me smoke, you don’t see me getting into arguments with these people - that’s not my type of drama”.

The 18-year-old unicorn says that her drama on the show comes in other forms. “My drama comes with me being in school and maintaining my fashion line”, Mauldin continued.

“Me drinking, me smoking - that ain’t really me and I’m not going to do that just for a show.”
