we both he ain’t dress like this before you got there/started dating

and he really didn’t mean to match with you, bc he would never agree to that willingly unless you truly begged

you started buying small matching clothes for you and him (it would start with necklaces, moving up to shoes, and then shirts) you did this method so he wouldn’t notice how much you both looked alike

And he didn’t, not until Denki and Sero teased him about it

“Never thought I’d see Bakugou so whipped.” Sero teased playfully pushing Bakugous shoulder, making bakugou shout at the both of them

“What the hell are you talking about?” *causes explosions in his hands*

Bakugou would then start paying more attention and see he is indefinitely dressing differently

But it’s not his fault, his clothes are just now filled with things you bought him and yours vise versa since he knows what you like… it kinda just happened.

I don’t think y’all both take photos a lot bc he’s not like that, but when you do y’all followers go crazy bc they think it’s the cutest thing to see Bakugou look so good with you.

also he doesn’t really mind since he can still be comfortable in that type of clothing, so he never changes up when Sero and Denki pointed out observations

“Cmon blow out the candles birthday boy” you teased him over his shoulder watching his face turn blush at your words and the constant embarrassment wash over him repeatedly through the day, he was the glad that it was almost over - and his face would finally stop heating from the amount of attention he’s received all day.

“Happy birthday Midoriya!” The class singed with joy as the boy blew out the final candles of the day that wrote “17”. “What did you wish for deku?” Ochako hummed, “he can’t tell his secret, or else it won’t come true!” Iida spoke up giving Izuku a great excuse to not reveal his wish- because lord knows he’s a terrible liar.

He said his final thank yous, heading to the dorms in almost a rush to finally have some peace and quiet - until you ran to catch his attention. “Midoriya!” You caught your breath smiling at him and putting your hand on his shoulder, “I almost forgot to give you my present!” You beamed at him. “Oh! You really shouldn’t have! It’s not really a special day or anything but I really appreciate you buying-“ you cut off his rambling - knowing he wouldn’t stop anytime soon and handing him the black box. “Open it!” He carefully opened the top, eyes widening at gift.

“Something about you made me think you like bracelets! And I wanted to give you something that you’d like forever so, I got you this.” The silver bracelet with the initials “I.M” sat on the jewelry, eyes meeting yours he didn’t know how to thank you. “Thank you so much Y/N, this is a beautiful gift.” You cheeks rose in heat at the praise, “no worries! I hope you had an amazing day today midoriya!” You rolled on your heels, heading towards your own dorm as he took ahold of your shoulder making you stop

“Do you.. wanna eat somewhere sometime?” he could barely look in you in the eyes, not wanting to face rejection; especially on his birthday. You smiled nodding at him, “I’d love to.” You kissed his cheek softly, “goodnight Izuku.”
