I worked on the edge of the Hoshi Tombo, it is really nice and sharp but needs a little more refinement for smoothness. The PantaRei Brush is fantastic with soft face feel yet decent backbone. The Figaro has a pleasant marzipan scent and whipped up a good lather. The PantaRei brush whipped up a excellent lather with the Tabac. Unfortunately the Treet Platinum gave me one terrible shave. I was cut to pieces with this blade. Tabac lacks slickness and this blade was not at all smooth for me. So much to say about this Shave, one of my best Shaves I’ve ever had... this brush... if I could only choose 3 brushes, this would be one of them, it is sooo soft with excellent backbone.. The soap! Well this soap is just excellent, it whips up one creamy thick lather that provided soo much protection, I could keep going over the same spots with no irritation. It was decently slick but my favorite part is the scent.. it is delicious, makes my mouth water. The Aftershave feel was good, I almost didn’t use a Aftershave. My only downfall to this soap is there is quite a strong burn on the skin. If this burn wasn’t present, it could be my top soap along with Castle Forbes Lime. The Merkur 37c performs excellently with a Personna Blue Blade giving a very close and smooth shave.
