a groan rumbled through your throat for the umpteenth time that night — well... morning.

minecraft had released its big update that seemed to occur every year or so, and you had recently found yourself playing more and more of the video game each day, your play time growing longer and longer with each hour of the day that you were sat playing on your creative or survival worlds; or sometimes even the servers of friends or people you've met online.

but tonight you had decided to play mini games on the hive. oh, how big your mistake had been.

the hive had gotten a makeover too, along with some of their most loved mini games (such as treasure wars) and you had been wanting to check out what was in store for your gaming. and so you had headed to treasure wars, but your excited smile quickly ceased when you had been killed by a user named watermelon_mark... over, and over again.

every time you walked over to the middle to grab diamonds, watermelon_mark was always there to ambush you and steal what you had fairly received. you didn't understand why they had been doing it. as soon as your treasure had been destroyed, you had been killed by the other player for the final time and, before exiting the game, you typed an exasperated scold into the chat.

shawtylikeamelody : hey ! watermelon guy!!

shawtylikeamelody : that was totally unfair, why did you kill me so much!!!

you didn't get to see what they had typed back, because you'd exited as soon as you pressed the 'enter' key. judging by the ungodly hour of the night, maybe playing more minecraft wasn't the best idea, so you settled for browsing through youtube until you became tired and bored.

one of the videos on your recommended page caught your eye : !NOW STREAMING! i play treasure wars, but everytime i see someone who isn't in my team i kill them. and the name of the channel : watermelon mark. it couldn't be a coincidence, right? maybe you would log on tomorrow night so see if you could settle this the right way.
