My sister's long time boyfriend broke up with her over text (because he is 25 and has to figure out his life apparently) and it's very frustrating because she is heartbroken and even though we are both in Europe I don't have a valid schengen visa, she doesn't have a UK visa and so we can't visit each other.

But! We are as a result fulfilling our long time jokey plan of going to Istanbul telling absolutely no one and staying at a hotel next week which will be something.

#I also could only take 2 days off and will work remotely for the rest of the week #i mean we will tell my mum - just lie about the arrival date so we have 5 days to ourselves first #i also pulled all stops (including getting myself business tix both ways) but goung to turkey still makes me so anxious augh #she also found a hotel thats almost twice the budget i asked we keep to (which ofc im paying in whole)#but idk being in the lap of luxury and having access to an indoor pool and a spa will no doubt help with heartbreak so i did it #but she really better know how much she is loved #though
