#theres this amazing french artist ive following for years on twt and insta#and like... ive always wanted to get the artbook but the price + shipping is just outrageous#and now... they made a patreon where the lowest tier is 70 brazilian moneys and the one with full access is 200 to see the comics#and all the other stuff that she used to upload for free#which is such a shame#she can obvsly charge for whatever her work is amazing#it does pain me that i wont be able to keep up the work anymore#;____;#same thing when authors post stuff on ao3 and then migrate to patreon#i understand that maybe 10 dollars or 10 euros isnt much to your local audience... but fuck me#conversion makes it impossible to keep up#200 moneys is what i spend on food for a week#i hate it here
