180219 “For precious life”… Shinhwa’s Eric’s fans celebrate the ★star’s birthday with a 2,160,000KRW donation

Shinhwa’s Eric (Mun Junghyuk)’s fans made donations to celebrate his birthday (02.16.1979).

The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation revealed on 19th, “Shinhwa Eric’s supporters ‘UBEric’ donated 2,160,000KRW to celebrate Eric’s 40th birthday.”

Eric’s Fan club said “We, together with many fans who love Eric, are making donations to celebrate Eric’s birthday every year under his name. We hope the children who receive the donation to be happy and healthy.”

On the donation certificate that issued on Feb 16th under the name ‘ Mun Junghyuk’, it says “Happy birthday to Mun Junghyuk. UB Eric is giving out love for the precious life. We hope for the joy of full recovery of the children who are fighting against cancer.”, adding more meaning to the donation.

Eric & Shinhwa will host the SHINHWA TWENTY FANPARTY 'ALL YOUR DREAMS' fanmeet to celebrate their 20th Anniversary since debut at the Olympic Park SK Handball Stadium for two days from March 24th to 25th.

Donation from the fanclub will be donated to The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation under the name of 'Shinhwa Eric' to commemorate his birthday.

Junjin: There was a time I almost died, and many upsetting events happened in the past 20 years ..  My grandmother was the reason I lived .. but it has already been two years since she passed away, and when my dad collapsed last year, I wondered, ‘What crime did I commit in my past life?’ I was able to overcome all that thanks to the members. Even if it is difficult, I’ll smile while thinking of the members, thinking of my family, and work hard. The members: You did well, our Jinnie ♥ (trans: malpabo & fancam cr: NNN)

So heartbreaking :(( .. What breaks my heart is that we didn’t know he was going through tough time last year! he was all happy & cheerful during Shinhwa’s promotions & his solo activities. He was putting a happy face while being so broken inside! really don’t judge a book by its cover. Seeing him for the 1st time mentioning his grandma after she passed away TT he always said she’s the reason he lives & the one who raised him up after his mother & father left him after he was born.. we can feel he’s so suffering inside. This guy really went through a lot & yet he keeps on putting a happy smile, pretending to be okay.. but he’s not okay .. We know you’re still suffering & not fully recovered from your mental issues, but I’m happy you’re surrounded by those 5 friends who’ll always stand by you, comfort you & wipe away your tears. I wish nothing but happiness & peace of mind for you our babybird and I hope you’re the next member to get married. He really needs to feel the warmth of a family. I wish I could hug him & tell him how proud we’re of him, how precious he is & how much we all love him. We’re always by your side our precious Junjin ♥
