I had a similar experience happen once in pokemon go where I accidently fled from a shiny trapinch. I'm sorry :(

I’ve seen so many videos where people fail shinies so I knew it was gonna hurt. ShinyCollector ran from a Regirock, CandyEvie reset over her Treecko,,, that shit hurts man. But I’m already at almost 400 encounters so I’m gonna hope to get it this weekend. Nonstop resetting until I reclaim this Chikorita or find one of the other two
