i think shizuo would just.... love to hold izaya. after they get together, after everything, just...holding him. thinking of the past, of how shizuo tried so hard to hurt izaya, and now he's holding him with featherlight touches. and what of izaya? of how shizuo is comforted and not enraged by his presence, how that damn smell became a comfort, of how shizuo can trust izaya to be so close to him without the threat of a knife in his face. how izaya falls asleep in his arms, so sure that it's safe. how shizuo lets himself fall asleep, holding the love of his life and not worrying about hurting him in his sleep by accident. shizuo holding izaya, and thinking about how much things have changed. how he has something he thought was out of reach. how happy he is that he has it. how happy he is that it's izaya. shizuo being so, so in love that it hurts, but hurts in a good way- the kind of ache that reminds you that you're alive.

depressed last night and also couldn’t find my shizaya bookmark I got at comic con in the spring while I had no money and could only afford a shizaya bookmark (was cosplaying izaya that weekend so it was like fate handed it to me) and I almost had to end it all (it was in one of my bsd light novels)
