Okay so for OC ask game - Hanh/Kenny 👀

Oh oh, another Hanh/Kenny ask!

97. How do they wake their S/O up? Is it difficult to rouse them? 

Mmm I think out of the two, Kenny’s the heavier sleeper. Hanh would probably try and wake him up in the least disruptive way possible: shaking his arm lightly, nudging him, and repeating “hey, hey wake up, sleepyhead” and other pet names. If he’s sleeping SUPER soundly, she’ll just lean in super close until he stirs awake and he gets a face full of fisheye lens action ALJFDSHKVLJ it’s the funniest thing to them and they both laugh about it. The laughing usually wakes him up after that. 

While Hanh falls asleep easily, it’s just as easy to wake her up. If Kenny’s the one to wake up before her, he doesn’t have the heart to tell her to wake up. He’ll get out of bed as quietly as he can and go about his business. If it’s been too long though, he takes the long, guilty, walk back to their bed to wake her up. Usually with a light shake and some comforting words, just like she does. 

59. Is there a spot they tend to kiss or caress habitual?

For Hanh, she loves giving kenny cheek kisses! It’s short, cute, and sweet. She also loves kissing any scar that Kenny might have that didn’t manage to disappear in his many deaths. I also mentioned this in the other ask, but Hanh fidgets a lot and makes circles in Kenny’s hand with her thumb. 

For Kenny, also cheek kisses! And also just regular old kisses on the lips. Sometimes he’ll lean in and rest his head in the crook of her neck. He also likes holding her cheeks and pinching them. 

28. Do they trust one another? Are comfortable discussing their fears with one another?

Oof ok this is a rough one for them. BUCKLE UP, CAUSE THIS IS A LONG ONE!

I think something that would be an issue between the two of them is that Kenny can sometimes get a bit overly protective and controlling. Have you seen the way he acts towards Karen in the Casa Bonita DLC? Or the way he literally built a TIME MACHINE to fix the broship? He has no say or agency when it comes to both his eldritch curse and his dysfunctional home life. But the moment he gets any opportunity at control, he fights tooth and nail for it (WHICH BTW THANKS FOR MANTEQUILLAMCWHOREMICK/HELIOLETI when he showed me this analysis my mind was literally blown, so shout out to him). So yea, the guy defo grows up with control issues. Also, have you seen him in the show??? :( poor guy's always being sidelined, forgotten, or abandoned: when Kyle's about to die and Stan cries over him but not Kenny's death; when he gets outcasted by his friends because he can't a scooter with them for Halloween; not to mention, the fact that NO ONE believes his curse. It wouldn't be a surprise that Kenny feels the need that he has to keep everything to himself, especially when he takes on a caretaker role with Karen. That boy is gonna have a rough time ever showing vulnerability. So, for her own good, he never likes to divulge or dump his problems onto Hanh, especially when he sees how stressed out she gets from the AP classes she takes.

On the flipside, before they even date, Hanh is always trying to get Kenny to open up: asking about his day, how he's feeling, if life at home is good, how Karen is doing, etc. But all he ever responds with is a smile that never quite reaches his eyes. She's always walking the line between wanting him to open up about his problems, but also not wanting to push him to say something he's not comfortable talking about. It's especially hard, because she knows exactly what it's like to be the "therapist" friend, considering how much she's constantly cleaning up after people. Even after the M4 have their "breakup" (in my AU there's a moment where the guys stop being friends), her and Kenny are kind of the "divorced" children of the aftermath, so it made her think that they could at least bond from that, fucked up as it is. But again, there's still that distance that Kenny puts between the two of them, thinking he knows what's best for her.

However, Hanh has a lot of insecurities regarding being seen as inferior to people, stemming from a lot of things but i feel like that one needs its own post jalsfhklj, youd probably need to ask me for more details about that. Kenny never means for it to come off as if he doesn't trust her (which he does trust her, I mean seeing as she's saved their asses countless of times), but Hanh doesn't like that Kenny feels as though he has to hide his issues out of fear that she wouldn't get it. She wants her best friend to be able to rely on her and confide in her, and closing himself off from her robs her from that agency. Hanh's a bit of a hypocrite though, because she does the exact same to Kenny: she's always afraid of complaining or venting to Kenny, because to her, her problems seem inconsequential compared to what Kenny has to go through.

TL;DR, they've got a lot of learning to do, LOL. But they'll get there!!

After some plot and character development, I think he would tell her about his curse, which after some convincing (aka asking something that only he would know if he did die), she does believe him. You could chalk it up to her being naive and gullible, but Kenny doesn't care. It's something he's eternally grateful for.

And while I don't think Hanh would have as much blind loyalty that she does with Kyle, she knows that Kenny is capable. At most, if Kenny's telling her something insane or ask for a huge favor, there'd be a bit of hesitance, but at the end of the day she trusts him.

Oh wow, there’s a bunch of worms crawling around everywhere. Hey what’s with the empty can?

Sdkfjla goodness there is so much I could talk about in regards to Hanh’s dynamic in relation to the M4 and the stuff they do together,,, im not sure if you meant the m4 individually or them as a whole, but for the sake of time (and your sanity) ill keep it to just the m4 as a whole! (If you meant her dynamic with each of them, feel free to shoot me another ask! I love an excuse to yap about their dynamics sjkdsj)

So Hanh kind of serves the role that Tweek had when he was an honorary member of the group. Re: "Free Hat" (season 6 ep 9) and "The Simpsons Already Did It (season 6 ep 7) where Tweek basically was at the whims of the boys' shenanigans and had to be the one to pay the price and clean up their messes. It's something I really enjoyed from the show and I really wish they'd done more with that dynamic, seeing as now Tweek's kind of always in the bg with Craig's gang. So, instead, I stole it! LMAO

Hanh basically ended up bonding with these assholes (poor sap) and decided they were gonna be her friends (save for cartman). Sadly, that means that whenever she unwillingly gets dragged into any of their hijinks, usually she ends up being the one to bail them out of whatever hole they dug themselves into and clean up after them. Just the concept of the one stressed out person trying to desperately keep a group alive lives rent free in my head. I mention it a bit here too where if even Kyle ends up faltering in his moral compass and rationale, she'd be their last line of defense.

Hanh's certainly not stupid, but she is a bit naive, especially when it involves her friends. Her unending loyalty makes it easy for her to manipulated and deceived by Cartman, especially if he tricks her into thinking it's to help the other three in some way. She often lets her emotions get the best of her and that's usually how she keeps ending up falling for his schemes.

When they're NOT spiking her blood pressure though, she still tags along in whatever activity they do: board games, garage band sessions, video games, walking around town, whatever! She just likes spending time with them. She especially likes playing video games. If it's something like Minecraft, then she's the one gathering all of the materials, making OP farms and building pretty houses. Competitive shooters are fun for her too. Basically, any kind of multiplayer game! When they get older, her and Kyle also hold group study sessions to make sure everyone's keeping up.

So yea, that's the girl!! Lmk if you wanna know more, I will literally take any excuse NOT to shut up about her SKFDLJLHJA THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND WORDS AND FOR THE ASK!!! mmmmwah

Hm fears or phobias.. well Hanh is general is kind of a scaredy-cat. She's pretty easy to spook and has a lot of anxiety regarding lots of things. Hanh overthinks things a lot (she's the type to lie in bed and roll over, thinking about cringe stuff she's said) and is terrified of having the spotlight be put on her. Y’know, the usual.

But in terms of deep seated phobias, probably the ocean. Oh and spiders, but spiders she can at least kill.

The idea of being stuck in the middle of the vast ocean expanse, where you see nothing below you but a deep blue? Terrifying. Do not let her watch Jaws. Or play Subnautica.

Swimming also just isn't really that fun for her. The idea of wearing an uncomfortable bathing suit just to swim in cold water isn't very appealing to her, pool or ocean. One you swim in pee water (you can imagine how she felt during the Pipi water park episode), and the other you get sand stuck all over you. No thank you.

Im glad you're looking forward to the painting!! I've made some progress on it but I wanna wait a bit before I upload a WIP progress ! Or who knows, maybe I'll just upload the full thing in one go

3. What is their love language?

Physical touch! Hanh likes to be physically affectionate in general with everyone, platonic or romantic. Whether it’s handholding, cuddles and hugs, putting their chins on the other’s head, it’s the whole nine yards. Hanh’s usually the first one to initiate handholding, often fidgeting with Kenny’s hand and running her thumb in circular patterns. It’s not a habit she’s conscious of, but Kenny absolutely loves it. Makes him feel grounded. They also just both love hugs!! Whenever they get a chance, they’ll just tackle each other into a bear hug. Kenny likes to be especially annoying about it when he wants to tease her. They’re a bit hesitant on PDA sometimes, but Kenny can’t help being annoying and obnoxious about who he’s dating, and he likes occasionally announcing it to the world just to embarrass Hanh. 

Quality time is also super important to them, and they don't even have to be doing much. They just like being in each other's presence and partaking in each other's interests and hobbies. Especially if it's anything nerdy!

10. Who plays with whose hair?

Hanh plays with Kenny’s hair! Whenever they’re cuddling and Kenny’s leaning against her chest, she likes to play with his hair: pushing strands out of his face, massaging his scalp, mostly just fidgeting with it while they’re watching a movie or something. Kenny absolutely melts whenever she does it. 

Hanh’s also a bit sensitive about the appearance of her hair, often combing out her bangs to be perfect and making sure not a strand is out of place. Meanwhile, Kenny can’t be further from the truth. I like to HC that Kenny doesn’t really care how his hair looks, and he just cuts it whenever it gets really annoying, so there will be times where he just buzzes his whole head on a Thursday afternoon. Whenever Hanh wants to try out a new hairstyle but is too chicken to try it out on herself, she asks Kenny if she can try it out on him! They both leave as winners: Hanh gets to practice styling her hair and Kenny gets to have a full spa day. Sometimes they come out of it with matching hairstyles!

12. What is something their S/O does that makes them flustered?

For Hanh, it doesn’t take much to fluster her jsldfhkjl. Girl’s a mess, but it’s what Kenny finds the most charming about her. She wears her heart on her sleeve and she’s not good at disguising her expressions. She smiles at everything and is so easily excitable, you can often catch her face contorting while repressing a smile if she doesn’t want to come off too strong. If she was a dog, you’d be able to see her tail wagging. Kenny loves how easy it is to fluster Hanh and thinks it’s so damn cute. He tries to never go too far, but he loves teasing her and seeing her flustered expression: a hand snaked there, flirty words thrown there, it doesn’t take much for Hanh to go red from head to toe. 

As for Kenny, teasing doesn’t do much for him. Hanh has tried throwing funny little quips his way, but he always ends up deflecting it and throwing it right back, completely backfiring against her. However, the things that do fluster him are usually things Hanh does unconsciously and earnestly.

Exhibit A: They’ll be mid convo while Hanh’s playing on her DS, and she’ll just randomly blurt out, with complete sincerity, “You know, you’re the prettiest person in the whole world.” And then go back to playing Pokemon Black and White like she didn’t just rock his world. She gets confused about it sometimes, since to her it’s just a fact, but it’s the way that she says it so genuinely and so matter-of-factly that really flusters him.

Exhibit B: Sometimes it’s just little actions, like her tilting her head when she doesn’t understand his question with that lost look in her eyes, or when she’s so excited about something she grabs his arm and jumps up and down, or she’s freshly woken up from a nap and looks at Kenny with doe eyes, etc. Lots of little quirks about her that he notices.

24. Who kissed who first? 

AJSKFHDLJ I think Kenny. Hanh’s probably too much of a chicken, and she’d probably overthink the whole kissing process. Kenny’s just gonna have to make the first move. As for how I haven’t figuredddd that out yet. It would probably when they’re out doing something mundane, like going out for fast food or going out on a walk, and he’s been mustering up the courage to confess to her. Then after confessing it all to her, he goes for it (with permission of course). Idk I haven’t thought about this too much cause I don't have a solid plot line for them yet!! 

32. Can they communicate private thoughts whilst in company? If so, how? 

Hanh would grab Kenny’s hand and tug at his fingers to get his attention. They can have a whole conversation with just eye rolls, nodding, head tilts and head motioning. Sometimes they look a little crazy doing it jsdlklj. That or they just text each other, but that's boring.

DFHKJL IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED ME THIS! Ok so I don’t think I’ve ever explained how I view Hanh’s ships, but it’s like a multiship situation: each of her ships exist in their own respective universes, and everyone outside of the ship is strictly platonic. So if it’s the Hanh/Kenny ship, then Stan and Kyle are strictly platonic in that universe. If it's Hanh/Kyle, then Kenny and Stan are strictly platonic, etc. This is mostly because of my indecisiveness aljdshlj but also because I really love love love platonic relationships between guys and girls!! I love the dynamic of Hanh having a romantic relationship with the three, but I also really love the dynamic of platonic relationships too. There’s just something so special about it that warms my heart. So yea! They all exist in their own isolated universe and plot. 

BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION! Oh man… I love all three so much, but I think it has to be Hanh and Kenny AFLSHK if you already couldn’t tell with him being my favorite character. Not that I don’t love the other two! Hanh/Kyle are a very close second, and they were actually the ship I thought of the first. Hanh/Stan also has a lot of interesting dynamics and plot that I love playing around with. But in terms of who I think about the most…. Kenny takes the crown for that one !!! God I have so much symbolism written for them: in their normal AU, their TFBW AU and even their TSOT AU. They drive me insane and I can’t get them out.

OH WOW THIS IS A HARD QUESTION........

anon if ill be honest with you i dont think i can even remember my first memory, let alone the one related to music 😭

but this is fiction so!!! i can just make up whatever i want!!!

hmm lots to think about... i think maybe the furthest memory she can think of is of her time before she moved to South Park? Maybe an interaction she had with her old friends or something embarrassing she did at her old school. As she grows up it gets a little fuzzy, and the memories slowly get replaced with the ones she makes in South Park, since it becomes her new home.

Hanh loves music!! She's definitely not an expert or super knowledgeable about genres/sub-genres, but music's been part of her life for as long as she can remember. You can always catch her listening to something, and she's never seen without her headphones or earphones. So I'd say maybe her earliest memory related to music is bumping to tunes on the car radio! Or her parents buying her a CD Album to, idk, the Barbie soundtrack and listening to it on loop.

10. Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive? Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

Oh, Hanh is definitely very sentimental haha! She's super emotional and kind of a romantic at heart, so she collects trinkets and scraps to add to her ever growing pile to use for scrapbooking ❤️ she's not beating the hoarder allegations anytime soon (if you look at her inventory in any game, she hoards everything and never uses any of it). Stan and her would definitely feed into each others' hoarder delusions (something something "no you should definitely keep that, why are people saying you should throw that away? Right? That's what I'm saying?" type of interaction)

15. What places hold significant meaning or memories for your OC? Do they have a positive or negative association with those places?

Hmm I haven't quite thought about this too much honestly. I'm the kind of person to consume every single thing about a specific media before I go really indepth into making a character for it, and I've still got *looks at screen* like, 8 more seasons, 2 games and all of the Snow Day cutscenes to watch, so there's still a lot of specific locations I don't really know off of the top of my head for South Park.

Though, if I were to try and think about it, honestly just any location where her and the M4 spend a lot of time together! Like at one of the guys' house, a diner they frequent, Tweek's coffee house, anywhere they'd hang out lot. She has a really close relationship with them (save for Cartman), so any place where they've made a lot of memories together is a location she'd hold dear to her heart <3

2. Is your OC a loner or a social butterfly? Are they satisfied with how they come across to other people?

Mmm I'd say moreso a loner than a social butterfly. Hanh would make polite small talk with acquaintances/strangers, but only if they make the first move. She's a very shy and quiet person, sometimes so much so that people wouldn't notice her, since she mostly keeps to herself. Poor girl also has mad social anxiety at times. Her internal thoughts is just her going "shitshitshitshitshit" in response to everything she does and freaking out over if what said/did was loser behaviour or not, lol

HOWEVER! She is incredibly outgoing and energetic the moment it comes to her friends!! Like full on 180: very loud, playful, and bubbly. You almost wouldn't recognize that it's the same person.

20. Has your OC ever done something terrible and lied about it? Did they run away or blame someone else for it? How long did they maintain the lie and did the truth ever come out?

Honestly, not really! Or at the very least, I haven't planned any story that would make her do something truly bad. Hanh's a very sweet goody-two shoes at heart, and a pretty lawful good person (as in "would not jaywalk" and "would scold you for littering" lawful good WAHAHAH). She's not the kind of person to ever pass the blame onto someone else, and is usually very good at taking accountability (of course there will sometimes be exceptions, but at the end of the day she'll always fess up about it since she wouldn't be able to live with that kind of guilt)

I think the biggest thing she'd lie about would probably her Superhero and TSOT alter egos, where she hides her identity from the others. Still gotta work out the kinks on how I'd write that one out, though. I do have a bit of a general idea that I hope to refine once I get around to playing the games!

oh you know now that i think about it... i think for hangouts, hanh would have a soft spot for being pampered/being doted on. With how much responsibility is often forced onto her, it would feel nice to be the one being taken care of for once (even though she'd probably never willingly admit it haha)

[3] What emotion is the hardest for them to deal with?

Probably sadness. She hates being belittled, and unfortunately, crying makes it hard for her to be taken seriously. She doesn't like feeling like a "girl" for crying (which btw: nothing wrong with being a girl or crying, they just have a complicated relationship with their gender and internal misogyny that they'll eventually figure out. I'd get more into it, but that's a long one, lol. It's a story for another day). Being in friend groups that mostly comprise of boys makes her feel like she has something to prove, and crying makes her feel like it's proof of her weakness.

Anger is a close second, but because of how little she gets genuinely angry, people at least take her a little more seriously when she's mad.

[42] What is their idea of a perfect friendly hangout and/or romantic date?

Both for friendly hangouts and romantic date, she just likes spending time with the people she loves! Even if it's something as mundane doing laundry and taking a walk in the park. Of course, she does love the occasional grand gesture, but if all you need is each other's company to keep yourselves entertained, then that's more important than any grand gesture. She loves talking and being able to talk to someone who's just as passionate and responsive as she is, bonus points if you have a good sense of humor. She does love playing video games and watching movies, though! If it's something nerdy, she's more than likely going to be down.

[49] Do they possess any unexpected skill or knowledge that surprises others, and otherwise, what is something anyone would assume they know or can do, but in fact they don’t?

Since Hanh usually looks distracted and is kind of an airhead, people assume that when they're having conversations around her, she's not really listening (especially since she's always seen wearing headphones). So, imagine their surprise when she brings up their birthday when they don't remember ever mentioning the date to her.

While the distracted part is true, she's got a pretty good sense of observation when it comes to the things people say and do. Because she usually sticks to the background and has a very unassuming presence, people don't notice her much or even realize when she's eavesdropping.

It's not something she does consciously either. She probably picked up the habit from all of her years being around the M4 and being dragged into situations that turn on a dime, so she's used to always being vigilant. Being around troublemaking, thrill-seeking, immature boys will do that to you.

People also assume that Hanh is naturally gifted at studying since her grades usually range from a B+ to an A-, with the occasional A+ sprinkled in. However, it's actually really hard for her to focus when it comes to studying. They even fall asleep in class when the semester gets rough, so it's even harder to take notes and study. Pair that with a need to prove yourself and academic guilt: you've got a recipe for disaster. She often ends up comparing herself to her other classmates like Kyle, Wendy, and even Bebe in terms of grades. She constantly feels like she can't measure up to them and is always feeling like she's playing catch up. It's something she really struggles with internally.

Though something that does surprise people is that Hanh is surprisingly really persistent and really good at researching.

She brings a sort of "wet cat" kind of energy to the function. It's charming, in a way. But because she comes off as kind of wimpy, people expect her to be pretty passive and not really assertive, which is true for the most part. However, no matter how much she complains or how much it seems like she's about to give up, she'll more than likely go through with whatever she's doing all the way. Also, if there's one thing she hates, it's being told she isn't capable of doing something, so most of her persistence comes from spite. Again, years of being around the M4 will do that to you. You kind of have to be built different to handle that bunch.

As for the other skill: over the years, she's developed a knack for researching and just obsessively researches a topic she's interested in for the fun of it. It started when she was young and would read encyclopedias and look at encyclopedic illustrations for fun (nerd). Then, it turned into surfing on the internet. Over time, she just became experienced at knowing how to find information, citing sources, finding peer-reviewed articles, etc. She's the kind of person you'd want as your partner in a group project lol (which sadly has led to most of her teammates dumping all of work and responsibility on her).

Kenny Week, Day 2 - Fav Alter Ego/Fav Ship

so i wasnt planning on doing day 2 of Kenny Week, but then i realized part 2 of this comic also fit today's prompt! This is a continuation of this comic, and also the last part. Enjoy!

Kenny Week, Day 1 - Rivalry

and probably my only kenny day asjfhkdslj though I wanna try and at least do something for his birthday!! I initially wasn't going to post anything for Kenny Week, but then I realized the prompt fit in perfectly with this idea that I was already drafting.

Anyways, this is part 1 of this comic idea I had between Agent, my SP OC, and Mysterion <3333 hopefully ill be able to post part 2 soon!

To put it lightly, they dislike each other's presence. But, oh no! They got sent on another mission by Dr Timothy, and this time, it's a stakeout. Oh, the horror!
