1. Tell us about your current project(s) – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?

i always have little projects that i’m picking at but the main thing is my longfic about tom kirby and the other ambushed players which i have been working on on and off for. oh jesus i made the doc at the beginning of september so it’s been 6 months wow i hate that ANYWAYS i haven’t been doing much w it for the last monthish bc of things for fanwork exchanges but i just picked it back up again and i’m having fun

it feels v silly that i’ve been working on it so long at this point lol to my credit i spent like a month outlining and reading wiki shit and working on characters and also i had a bad depressive episode and also like? i just don’t want to rush myself ykwim like i want to have fun w it. more than anything it’s a big fun elaborate creative project and that’s important to me. anyway she’s around 10k rn and i am: about a quarter the way through my outline 🙈 so uh

there are two things i love most about it one is just. i’m very fond of those characters and setting (i love the tigers SO much) the other is i love doing theme-y bullshit and let me tell u. this thing has themes ok there are narrative threads being pulled

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

there is a big detail abt my kirby fic that i’ve been keeping to myself and everything related to that is very fun to work on shdjfks that’s your very vague answer

i think i’m pretty good at dialogue but w this like esp like i love how natural it sounds and the way that it says a lot implicitly. people talk around their problems and say things with body language and that can be a hard thing to capture in writing but i think i did a good job of it : )

this is probs the fic of mine i’ve reread the most and every time i do this part sticks out to me i just love it

6. What character do you have the most fun writing?

oh god i love to write any rude mouthy character. with blaseball stuff baby “ruthless” triumphant is my number one but jode crutch is up there too
