on the wall above xion’s bed in the new prism dorms was a whiteboard with “__ days since our last shenanigans” printed on it. his sister had thought it was a hilarious gift to send over when she found out prism was moving into a new apartment. he would admit it was pretty hilarious, but it was almost always at 0 days since shenanigans. there were no braincells to be found in the prism dorms, except for maybe when junseo tried to sneak his friend from starscape over and pretend he wasn’t making moony romantic eyes at her all the time. 

the thought about the shenanigans white board was simply to say, no one should realistically be surprised by the occurrence happening at this very shenanigan-infused moment. he stood in the living room, holding the bucket hat (bright yellow, with a duck face printed on) he had borrowed from minnie that very morning onto his head, trying very resolutely to ignore the happy rabbit clucking noises coming from it. technically he was supposed to ask permission before getting a pet, but xion thought in this scenario, it might be better to plead for forgiveness than ask for permission. besides, manager-nim would definitely agree it was a war crime to not adopt the cute grey colored rabbit he had stumbled upon on his day off.

he blinked at minnie, who had asked him...something. he had zoned out thinking of how cute the bunny he had (accidentally!) adopted was. “sorry, what? uh. there isn’t any noise coming from my hat.” smooth. “i mean your hat. on my head.” nice save.
