FFXIV Write Day #12 - Dowdy
“Don’t you ever consider that Ishgardian fashion is awful, big sis?”
“In what way?”
“You know, how women’s dresses are ever so baggy, with older ladies wearing that hideous cone hat? Plus, look at the men! Those alpine coats too! They’re large and baggy, and look terrible to walk around in!”
“Well, I suppose the baggy cloth is to keep warm for the unending cold weather there. Perhaps some of the patterns of the cloth are simply not to your liking, Fioel? You are more fashionable than me, after all.”
Sileas understood the viera’s meaning in her words. After living in the Holy See for a few months, she had noticed that the style of Ishgard was much dated, compared to other places in the world. While she did not mind the style, with a wardrobe of more custom looks that were fashionable that was customised for her, her viera friend was much more critical of fashion. They were out on a short trip in Ul’dah, picking out fancy fabrics for Fioel’s new clothing project.
“I know you’re worried about my personal style, Fioel, but I can assure you that I enjoy wearing warm and cosy clothes. The ones Tataru designed for me are perfect.”
“Yes yes, I know. I’ve seen you in them, even. I’m just worried. And I don’t want to see you in that cone hat.”
Sileas chuckled, smiling at her best friend.
“I’m sure Aymeric wouldn’t want me in that either, Fioel.”

FFXIV Write Day #30 - Amity
THIS IS 10 DAYS LATE. But also I didn't want to rush all the days and end up not finishing the final prompt!! So here is it very late. Blahblah life was busy patch happened usual excuses.
Anyway here's a short drabble I came up with of my hc of the conversation that happens at life before the gang reaches Amity in Shb. Enjoy the last of this writing!
Sileas and Fioel were taking a break as preparations to have the elevator operational to reach the upper rung of Kholusia. As they sat and chatted, Fioel quickly sensed a presence arriving, grumbling about the changed citizens of Eulmore.
“Ah, I see that our villain here has decided to show up to stop our exciting work?”
“Not at all, lass. You’d be glad to hear that I’m here to compliment you two for your excellent work.”
“You needn’t be hostile, Fioel. What brings you here, Emet-Selch?” Sileas asked inquisitively.
The ascian began to speak about the intricacies of conflict and conquest, complimenting them for achieving reconciliation quickly with the Eulmoran people. Fioel rolled her eyes, scoffing at his words as the two continued to glare at each other.
“That’s all you’re here to say, then?”
“There’s no need to rush, Fioel. Our dear hero over there needs her rest, after all,” he smirked, gesturing at the oranged-haired girl watching their argument silently. It was not in her nature to speak unless she had something important to say, and getting her to react was always a chore to him. Much like her, thinking of the past.
“Gods, you beat around the bush far too much, ascian.”
“How about I share a thing or two about our past with you two?”
Fioel’s ears perked up at the mention, curious to more of the ascian’s past, wishing to know more about him.
“And there was Amaurot…Never was a city more magnificent. From the humblest streets to the highest spires, she fairly gleamed…Not that you would remember any of this.”
“Remember what? Tell us.” the Viera asked.
“Fioel’s right. You…seem to want us, especially me, to remember something. Could you not share more?”
His gaze darted from them as if his thoughts had trailed off to another time.
“What more is there to tell? You are but shades, far different from the people of the past.”
“How about something the people of Eld did to relax? I wish to know.”
The ascian gazed over the warrior once more, her appearance reminding him of the past once more.
“Spending their time, scampering around and helping people. Some of them were simply just as good-natured as you are, the annoying lot of them. Unlike the Viera lass.”
“What do you mean by that, old man?!”
“Oh, you’ll know. If you meet my terms satisfactorily, Sileas. As for the Viera lass, you still have a ways to go. The door to find me is always nearby, if you wish for that too, Fioel.”
Shrugging, the ascian soon wandered off just as he came, waving his hand to bid farewell to the two warriors. Sileas could not stop him, unable to understand the meaning of his words. Such was the way he was as if he was expecting something from him.
Fioel gritted her teeth in irritation, shaking her head to remove the lingering questions she still had for him. He was the key to the dreams she would have as a child, but he wouldn’t answer. What was she to him? A past she couldn’t remember.
“Ugh, I can never understand why he’s always like this! I’ll continue to help to shake this annoying feeling away, Big Sis! Please rest as much as you can, alright?”
“I will, Fioel. Thank you,” Sileas replied, her mind still clouded with questions and doubt as she gazed at the path before her.

FFXIV Write Day #22 - Fulsome
Late post, because I was too busy gaming yesterday and giving people manicures. Oops! I didn't have much inspiration for this one either, so here's a raw af draft of some Aishi romancing.
Sileas trudged out of her room begrudgingly, in the new dress that Fioel had selected for her. It was a regular date with him since they had expressed their love for each other, this time along the streets of Limsa Lominsa together. Her face was peppered with cosmetics, as she sheepishly walked out, unsure if she looked good for the occasion.
“F-fioel asked me to try on some cosmetics to see if I liked them.”
“Ah! No wonder your cheeks look rosier than before.”
“T-they do…? That’s good…”
“And you look darling adorable. Your hair looks wonderfully styled, while your lips look luscious and adorable. And your-”
“T-that’s enough. I-it’s…too many compliments I’m not used to.”
Her cheeks were burning up from the fulsome comments he made of her appearance. Though she appreciated it, she wasn’t used to being praised to such a degree. She wasn’t even sure she looked good. Looking back up at Aymeric hesitantly, she gritted her teeth to speak once more as he looked embarrassed with his sweet tongue. Worried that she was upset, even.
“I…well…I’m not sure if I look that good.”
“To be frank, if you would allow me to. I would believe you look gorgeous no matter what manner of attire you are in. That being said, you only need to be yourself. You seem uncomfortable in those cosmetics.”
Gasping at how he saw through her, she turned away from him in embarrassment.
“Y-you figured it out. What I was worried about.”
“Perhaps I did. If you wish to remove it before we head off for our date, I could make the wait, my dear.”
“Well…! It’s alright. I wanted to try it once. I simply wished to look my best when I’m with you, Aymeric,” she replied, taking his hand as she led him off to the streets of Limsa Lominsa.
