what if Emilie was as bad as Gabriel (as a human and a parent), except she was more affectionate towards Adrien?
#emilie agreste#gabriel agreste#adrien agreste#miraculous ladybug#i mean#it kinda makes sense she would be#she dissapeared not long before Adrien got to school#and his life sucked before that#it's not like she was gone for a long time#so...#i mean if Gabriel is so obsessed#then he would surely listen to her#but Adrien was still in a bad situation#not to mention#why the fuck was she using the peacock#like#wat#i don't believe in the whole senti!adrien idea#since we know he'll be chat for years still from Bunnix#but from experience having an awful parent and a slightly less awful one makes you cling to the slightly less awful one#and like. i know#i want adrien to be happy too#but...#the fandom treats emilie like a ray of sunshine#and i'm kinda not in for it#this angsty boi has some serious childhood trauma#and like i know it can happen when one parent is bad#but its hard for me to believe that emilie did nothing to stop that while being a good person and parent#which is shitty but makes a lot of sense in my mind#idk i might be projecting
