Horizon Forbidden West machine headshots compilation 1/5.

I wanted to do a summary of my headshots (not including tallnecks, which had their own compilation already) coz I think they look pretty good en masse. One or two machines are technically missing from my collection (grimhorn and specter prime) but neither are available to snap post-game (and I'm not yet mentally prepared for playthrough #4). Hopefully you'll forgive me.

Anyway, here we go. These are in no particular order, but I did pair them up according to some strange connections my brain made.

I think I must have accidentally chosen the same flashpoint option on every single playthrough I've done - when I went to look up their names I found to my surprise that the werak name isn't always The Shattered Hearts.

It does feel the most right to me, though.

I tried to get a hero shot of Talanah with the spire behind her as well, but the character positions are such that either Erend or Varl kept ruining the shot. So she got a vertical instead.

Silga and Untalla.

Coz I finally read Malloy's When the Darkness Comes and just had to go back and visit them. I think Silga's animations have changed??

Anyway. These two have a few things in common besides a preoccupation with metal world voices, not least being in positions where (a) the camera movement has a tendency to get obstructed by a bunch of scenery furniture and (b) it is nearly impossible to get a light in their eyes.
