Soleanna is practically a kingdom on the sea, I can totally see Elise going incognito to go fishing with Sonic!

SonElise Week Day 4: Alternate Timeline Fun headcanon matters below! TL;DR--what if Elise's parents were alive?

I figure the way those two would have met in this timeline would be Eggman still gunning for some tool he can use to take over the world; just not with as-drastic matters since Solaris was never split up. For simplicity's sake I figure Elise has been pretty closed off from the world for protection--just the main difference is her at least having her parents around. Once Eggman is defeated I figure the two'd find time to steal away and have time to go on fun adventures! In this alt timeline, Elise's mom is a free-spirited duchess, while Elise's father is a lead scientist that married into the royal family when his wife set eyes on him. Considering he wasn't born royalty, he might take the matter much more seriously and at times might eye potential royal-consort Sonic over taking the role more seriously. Sonic would never want to be stuck in a castle as a king, the two might not see eye to eye for that reason. Even still, Elise's dad would probably be happy alongside his wife to see their daughter with someone who makes her happy. At the end of the day all that talk can wait--those two are just teenagers!

finally got the chance to give a go at elise again now that she has official 2d art! maybe a little late but better than never

brainstorming how i want to approach the abilities elise gets tapping into some of iblis' power! as the story progresses, she'll learn her fear of herself is what fuels the flames trying to consume her, and it takes a little encouragement/self confidence to channel it into something she's able to use the way she'd want to!

her inhibitor rings work similar to shadow (i wonder who had the papers to fashion something similar?) in that it keeps most of that raw power at bay--because while fire-wielding runs in the royal family, none of them had a very angry half of a god sealed inside of their soul, and without those rings elise would very quickly become consumed by the flames of disaster.

this unfortunately isn't going to make too much sense without some context, but here's a snippet of a scene i'm still workshopping! tl;dr silver attacks sonic and elise (un-intentionally) uses her iblis powers to beat silver back and save sonic's life. she feels pretty guilty about it, but our blue boy has something to say about that!

Two hundred years in the future, any trace of the past has been lost to the flames of Iblis. Alone in his fight against the undying monstrosity, fate smiles upon Silver the Hedgehog one day through the helpful hand of a mysterious figure who can travel though time. Silver is given two clues--the face of the Iblis Trigger, and a vocal recording of a man who warns the danger of it being unleashed.

Sent to the present day, Silver sets off to find the man who made the recording in the hope of changing the past to one free of Iblis. Little does he know in his attempts to be a hero, he may have set the world on the very course he wanted to avoid...

Will Silver find he has being led astray? Or will the Doctor be able to manipulate our hedgehog's noble efforts to one that suits his own selfish goals?

SonElise Week Day 3: Magic/Curse

I ended up keeping this after all! If I -really- wanted to be cheeky I would have made Elise into Guinevere, but I wanted to stay within the prompt so I kept elise as a humble mage (that might also be a lost princess?).

i'm going to be transparent, this originally started out as a joke scribble before being worked into background work

Princess Elise III is the young, soon-to-be Duchess of Soleanna. Having lost her father as a child to the Solaris Project, all that was left of him was the heavy burden he sealed away in her soul. When G.U.N. caught wind of the accident, they gave the royal government an ultimatum-- allow her to remain in Soleanna under the condition she contain the Flames of Disaster inside her, or have her confiscated by G.U.N.---least Iblis' rage be released upon the world.

turnaround for my redesign for elise! the goal was to fina a happy medium between her 06 design and the more modernized-looking humans from the late archie comics to make her look like a sonic character!
