#now about this heffa#as i said i hadn't touched this game since last august#skills and mojo nowhere to be found i could barely remember which buttons did what#and the place where i left it was in the middle of the dungeon leading down to this place#now i could trundle my way up to this dude without too much trouble but#needless to say the extra special megaboss of the dlc (i think) isn't the type you roll up to with both your thumbs still up your ass#so things weren't going horribly well#not to rellana countable-in-hours degrees (thank god) but my dodging game was just too rusty to keep up well enough#and i was on my very last flask and -about- to lose both nerve and temper and then suddenly#see gif#wait#i remember now#a key part of my fighting style used to be#JUMP ATTACKS#*bonk*#THIS SPINDLY BITCH AIN'T GOT NO POISE#and then he went down in genuinely ten seconds after that#ølden ring#things have been going just swell ever since#downed two more bosses in the meantime we'll get to those soon enough
