The difference in tones between episodes 12-18 and episode 19 makes it looks like someone had to remind the writers that the main goal was to sell toys, so they went "oh yeah that's true" and wrote a whole episode talking about exchanging parts of your beyblade

So like. This never crossed my mind before when I was a kid but now I'm wondering. What language do they speak when they're in other countries? For the context of mei-mei and chin-yun talking to them in the first few episodes where they were in Japan, I assume they were speaking japanese. But how does the Japan team does when they're in china and other countries? Do they speak English? I don't think they know every language to every country they travel to, and they never have (as far as I remember) some sort of translator. Are they speaking in a universal language such as English, or do other languages simply do not exist in the beyblade universe and they all just speak this one big language in every land?

90% of the time in metal fusion the animators draw and animate ryuuga as an insane man and I think it makes ryuuga seem much more older than he should be

Ryuusei's actions getting a pass on this episode aside, the scene where Ryuuga takes Daidouji's energy ends up being very intense even in the English dub. I don't know if he's dead for sure (I never managed to finish metal fury and never watched shogun steel as a kid), but I think it's interesting that kid me never stopped to think about how ryuuga essentially betrays daidouji because of the dark power at the moment

now that I've reached as far as subs go for MFB, I'm unsure if I should watched it dubbed in English or in my mother language (Brazilian Portuguese). While I think the Brazilian dub has some issues (since it's translated from other dub) I don't know if I can stand ginga's English voice lmao

I've finally reached the episodes that feature the Brazilian team, and I know I'll have a lot to say about it once I'm done with them, but I gotta say: I love the implication that the Maracanã stadium is a beyblade stadium in this universe
