so abt ellie. one of the original concepts for gloria (from what i read) is that she was originally going to be pregnant and during the climax of the movie she'd have her kid and melman would help raise it. they scrapped that for OBVIOUS reasons. so in own of my aus i kinda kept it except the kid (ellie) was born before the events of mada1. yeah ellie just tags along kinda :3.

in another au, the previously mentioned au is crossed over with another au where melman is the famous one instead of alex. i don't mess around with star melman au by itself (idek how he'd be famous) but WHEN PAIRED WITH ORIGINAL GLORIA CONCEPT AU OMGGGG. THE ENTIRE CHARACTER ARC BETWEEN MELMAN, GLORIA, AND ELLIE IS THAT ELLIE WANTS A FATHER FIGURE AND MELMAN DOESN'T WANT TO BC HE HAS A LIFE BUT HE DOES LEARN TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT AND BE A STEPDAD ‼️😭
